Really great place. Room and bathroom are huge, clean and comfortable. Good AC and hot shower. We had parking for our tuktuk. Highly recommend staying here the included breakfast is really tasty. We done a cooking class with Cardamon Villa which was really good, and a great price too! Great location, quiet but close to everything, we walked to the local cafes and restaurants.

I like this place in a very silent environment and very safe, working distance for sigiriya lion rock and pidurangala, i invite all our foreign guests please book this place and see the free mind, nice tasty breakfast , comfortable beds, very clean bathroom , owner is very kind person any time he can help us, tuk tuk fees in very cheap rather than other hotels, thanks brother next week i agin come to u place, thanks

Everything was perfect. Absolutely nothing to complain

This place is fantastic. Very cosy. Rooms are very clean and big. Srimal and his mom are the nicest people on earth. Very helpful and approachable. You feel like you are with family. Outside is very green. Loads of plants. We were planning to stay for one night but the charm of the hotel and the owners had convinced us to stay longer. Food is amazing. Breakfast are big and extremely tasty. You choose day before what would you like to eat. You can have dinner too. Srimal's mom is fantastic cook!!! It is about 2.5km to Sigirija Lion Rock. I would choose this place again in a heartbeat. Thank you guys!!!

We had an amazing time in Cardamon Villa! The room was clean, beautiful, new and very spacious. The bathroom is also very clean and beautiful. The best accommodation we stayed in so far on our trip. Breakfast was delicious. The host Srimal is so lovely and took so good care of us. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. He was super helpful. We had mechanical issues with our tuk tuk, and he helped to get these fixed. Honestly, a wonderful experience. We left our hearts full of gratitude and feeling like we have one local friend now. Thank you so much Srimal 😊

The property is a tad far from the main area of restaurants and such. Probably took us about 25min walk to get the start of the town. Also the wifi had some issues with dropping out frequently. Minor inconveniences for an otherwise very nice stay.

We ended up here because our other accommodation didn’t have our booking and thus didn’t have a room for us. After a bit of searching we found Sigiri Cardamon Villa and we were super happy with our stay there. The host family is super nice and accommodating. Very friendly. They prepared great breakfasts and were flexible about when we wanted to have them. The owner agreed to take us to pidurangala trail for a sunrise hike. He was ready right at 5am and dropped us off for the hike. We then came back around 9:30 after visiting Lion rock and they prepared us a very nice and tasty breakfast. The room is very big as is the bathroom. Everything is nice and modern. The AC worked great, hot water etc. Overall we were very pleased with our stay here.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Most like part is the reasonable taxi services and tour packages with luxury vehicles. Memorable stay. Comfortable rooms and close to sigiriya rock. Environment is very calm and quiet.

Communication with our host (not the main owner but i think another family member and it wasa female and she had a different name) was sometimes a bit uneasy, occasionally coming off as passive aggressive. We tried not to overthink it as it could have just been due to the language barrier but just something to keep in mind. Overall would still recommend

Overall we had a lovely stay at Sigiri Cardamom Villas. The room was large and spacious, cozy bedding with a comfortable mattress and pillows. Very modern and the bathroom was very hygienic. The location was perfect as you could walk to multiple restaurants in the town whilst being secluded away in a more peaceful location. We unfortunately had booked 3 nights in this accommodation but the first night we were unable to stay due to "plumbing issues"- they were kind enough to put us up in their aunties accommodation as we weren't told until the day of however the hygiene at the othet accommodation was almost unacceptable but we put up with it for the night as we knew we were moving the next day. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, the food we had for breakfasts was lovely.
