The smell in the room was a bit unpleasant.

The boys were very helpful and forthcoming. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Its not far from Lions Rock and only a 15 min walk to the center. Bathroom was spacious and so was the bedroom.

-When you asked for breakfast for specific time this time only means for them that they start slowlu working on it - so you will get it half hour after the asked time (2/2 days was like this) - it is not a big problem, but in case you have something agreed before it is better to count with it :)

It was very nice and clean. The staff were kind and helpful and tried to help us to rent the scooter. The location was quite good and calm - but to get closer to “village centre” with lot of restaurants and cafes and nice view for the rock you have to take tuk tuk or other transportation (just FYI). Breakfast was good - very standard in Sri lanka - egg toast, butter jam, fruits. One day we got also coconut sambol and rotti.

Charming hotel with a nice garden and terrace. Large clean room and bathroom with fantastic warm shower. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. They help with everything, an elephant safari, a good driver, a tuk tuk etc. We had a great stay, highly recommendable!

Rooms are simple, but spacious and incredibly clean. Has all essentials: no kettle, but absolutely not a problem when the manager of the property is serving tea and coffee free. Location, off the main road. Amazing if you like somewhere a bit quieter, away from the tourist hubbub, but still accessible. 20-min walk to the Rock. Some tuk-tuks ask for more to drive them down the back street road. We just asked them to drop us off at the main road entrance and walked from there. Breakfast - sensational. Five stars. Home cooked coconut rotis and hoppers. Fresh, served at your selected time. But now the star of the show: Property Manager, Fernando, is a hospitality king. Waiting up late for us, to greet us with great welcome and ensure we had booked all of our drivers/activities for the next day. Making sure we were getting the best rates for our tours and tuk-tuks. Whatever we needed, Fernando delivered. He even tried to give us back our tip! But he deserved every penny. If you're reading Fernando, sir, thank you so much!!

They didn’t routinely serve drinks or food in the evening (although they did offer when we asked!). It was a bit of a walk into town and you shouldn’t walk at night because of the elephants.

Walking distance to Lion Rock. The breakfast both days was different, huge, and delicious. The staff were very helpful (but only the son/husband speaks English so it was a bit tricky if he wasn’t around). The room was big, clean, and comfortable. They helped us arrange a tuk tuk to Lion Rock for sunrise and a transfer to Kandy.

I can't really point anything.

The place is family run. Very honest couple, very helpful and likeable. The breakfast is great, not far from lion rock and the main restaurants in Sigirya. Also, if you need to take the 06.30am bus to Kandy, it is very handy as the bus stop is literally five minutes away on the main road. I would definitely return and it is a very good value for money.

Been in Sri Lanka a month and this was the best accommodation we've had so far. Exceptionally clean and comfortable room, fantastic hosts, lovely garden, quiet location, a short walk to everything, amazing breakfast, excellent value for money. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Wifi's weak, not reliable.

Rooms are big and clean, furniture is good, new, beds are comfy. Breakfast is excellent. A/C works perfectly. Peaceful and quiet place close to main attractions.

Very clean and comfortable room and extremely nice people. Breakfast was very yummy too. You can easily walk to restaurants and you can rent a scooter if needed. They also proposed to drive us to our next stop. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming and gentle host, they were highly available to give us suggestions and help (the AC in one of the rooms was not functioning and the managed to change the room immediately). The patio outside the rooms, used for breakfast and dinner, was very relaxing. Both (breakfast included, dinner on request) were very tasty, homemade and abundant. The structure was overall very tidy and clean.
