Really friendly and helpful owners - a lovely family who were happy to organise our day trips and transfers. The location was beautiful - really quiet, great views, and even watched moneys playing in the garden whilst eating our delicious breakfast. Would also recommend staying at the accommodation for dinner as the food was lovely. Would 100% recommend and would stay again :)

Property had beautiful views, but a longer walk into the town so just be mindful if you are below average fitness.

We really enjoyed our stay here The host sorted everything for us... Transport to Dambulla and Lion rock, as well as a wonderful Elephant Safari at Kurulu National park which I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend to stay in lucky villa, the location is amazing, you can see sigiriya rock in front of the rooms, and there is a cute place to have your breakfast while looking a sigirya’s rock or just enjoy the nature, the breakfast was local and so delicious, Ms. Sandu was so adorable and helpful, the owner was caring.

The property was very lovely! Big room, airco, warm shower, great location and most amazing hosts! We were warmly welcomed and the host (and family) were so helpful to make most out of our stay. The homestay arranged our elephant safari, tuk tuk’s to Pidurangala rock, a trip to Anuradhapura and to Dambulla. We were very satisfied!

Would recommend staying here! Surangi and her family were very welcoming and attentive, she arranged a cooking class for us which was a highlight for us, and she made us breakfast each morning which was amazing to enjoy whilst appreciating the view of Lion's rock.

We spent beautiful time in Lucky Villa Sigiriya, the accommodation is great, very clean, comfortable beds and tasty breakfast. Villa provides everything what you need, towels, water, kettle and tea and coffee, cosmetics, hair dryer. Surangi and Sądu are very kind and helpful. The view us amazing and the nature around mekes you happy. Surangi arranged for us cooking lesson, which was very interesting for all of us. Highly recommend!

We spent 3 very pleasant nights here. The location of the accommodation is a few minutes walk from the center, but makes up for it with the idyllic & lovingly furnished garden and above all the beautiful view of the Lions Rock + rice fields. Very good restaurants are close by. The hostess, who really takes great care of her guests, is supported by her son Danu and his wife. We really had a great time with Danu, who takes care of all the leisure activities, be it tuktuk rides, full-day excursions to the temples, archaeological sites, or a safari in an open jeep. He was always courteous, super motivated to show us his country in the best and nicest way. He knows his way around the country and even drove us to Kandy in his tuktuk. We can also highly recommend the breakfast! We would definitely come back!
