A friendly, helpful, clean comfortable home stay in beautiful gardens. Our hosts were so helpful and knowledgeable fixing up an excellent safari at very short notice with a brilliant driver - we saw so many elephants and so close up. Our host drove us to Sigiriya rock at 4.45am in the morning without us asking, for our sunrise walk. We had the most amazing spread for breakfast - so much interesting food. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location. Such lovely hosts wouldn’t let us leave without breakfast and because we wanted to leave earlier they accommodated that! Such a nice family and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. We had the additional cooking class and so glad we could support this, it was a highlight of our trip so authentic and absolutely delicious some of the best food we have had!

Everything here is amazing. Room is spacious, there is parking on-site, and is located a short walk away from the main street of Sigiriya. Breakfast is amazing and was one of the highlights! I also had to check-in really late, and the homestay owner was very accommodating to the request. We also booked a safari jeep tour (organised by the homestay) and we saw many elephants (around 60) that afternoon!

Easy walking to climb the rock. Set back from the main road, in lush surroundings. Clean, comfortable room, with large bathroom. Hospitable hosts, who helped us with our visit, & forward plans. Massive breakfast with many Sri Lankan dishes to try. Good coffee too.

Our stay was fantastic, and the host was incredibly hospitable and kind. He was always available to assist with any request and helped us arrange a safari, as well as transportation from Sigiriya to Kandy and Dambulla, all at very reasonable prices. The breakfast was delicious and also generously portioned. Each time, his wife treated us to a refreshing homemade lemonade, which made our mornings even more enjoyable. The property is ideally located, just a short 20-minute walk from Sigiriya’s top attractions, Lion Rock and Pidurangala. It is also conveniently close to excellent restaurants and bars. Overall, the value for money was exceptional, making it a perfect choice for our stay.

- A fabulous, family run home stay perfectly located an easy, safe, few minutes walk into the jungle. - Welcoming, characterful owners, friendly, smiling staff and harmless, curious family dogs. - Complimentary chilled drink on arrival. - Early check-in allowed (if the rooms available). - Very peaceful at night with only jungle sounds to enjoy and drift off to sleep to. - My room (#1) was homely, meticulously clean, well appointed (including a well stocked soft drinks mini-bar), efficient AC, fan and reliable WiFi. - Mosquito net hung from ceiling but never used as never had any mosquitoes in my room (that I saw). - My room had its own comfortably furnished, covered private terrace with clothes line, hangers and pegs. - Laundry service is available but very large bowl conveniently in bathroom for laundering your own clothes. - The owner organised a highly enjoyable all inclusive (drinks/transfers/park fees) five hour elephant jeep safari with his own driver, guide and comfortable 4X4. I saw well in excess of FIFTY wild elephants! Spectacular and memorable. - Very substantial, absolutely delicious breakfasts (thank you for my early breakfasts!) - I cannot recommend this wonderful guesthouse highly enough. As there are only a few rooms I would strongly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. - Everything about my stay was perfect from beginning to end. I could not have asked for more and I would 100% return. Thank you!!

Truly excellent location only 10 minutes walk from the rock. Easy stroll into the small "town" for dinner in the evenings. Super traditional Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by the host.

The host was very welcoming and gave good advices on activities. He offered to try safari and called different places to see and make sure that we will get to see any elephants - ended up seeing 40 of them! Also, they dropped me at 5am for a sunrise hike, which is extremely kind of them. Lastly, the breakfast was very big and very delicious!

the shower and toilet were not good. lukewarm water and the toilet was not ok. No dinner offered. You have to walk through the forest to get to town to eat. This should be known in advance when booking.

Delightful place right in the jungle but still very close to the town. It’s dark walking back from dinner in the town but I felt fine and I’m a solo female. They are a lovely couple with good English and looked after me very well. The owner has a jeep and will take you to Sigiriya rock early in the morning for a sunrise climb free of charge. He also offers lots of other things to do in the area. I only stayed one night, I wished I’d stayed longer. Sigiriya is the most stunning place.
