A great little treehouse stay. Overlooking the river and listening to it at night time. A nice secluded stay but close enough to walk to restaurants. Lots of places to relax, a swing, hammocks, camp stretcher bed all outdoors beside the river. Easy access to the river also to swim. Breakfast was great, omelette and toast, tea/coffee, juice and the best coconut pancakes we've had so far (and gluten free, made from rice flour!). If you had mobility issues such as difficulty climbing ladders the treehouse wouldn't be a good option for your stay. The stairs are steep and a little narrow both to get into the bedroom and down into the bathroom. But we had a great stay and the stairs did not affect us.

The owners are welcoming and friendly! They know a lot about Sri Lanka and give you the best recommendations. Also, the breakfast is amazing! The location is in the center of Siririya, but the place itself is quiet and next to the river. Good place to spend some time!

Not really a problem, but I like beds with a headboard so I was missing that, but that’s more of a personal preference than a problem.

Great guesthouse with a lovely and accomodating family. Dinner and breakfast were good. Laundry service was quick and the owner gave me a transport to Kandy with several stops along the way.

The beat homestay I have ever stayed in. The whole family was extremely accommodating and helped us to organise anything we needed. We had the best curry and rice and combined with the nicest property, it really was a dream stay. Could only recommend!!

Breakfast was okay, could have been a little more diverse. Don’t go here if you are afraid of little creatures like frogs. Room has very light curtains so bring a sleeping mask (and ear plugs if you sleep lightly)

It was a beautiful location. Very friendly staff. Musquito net is there. Nicely decorated place with hammocks and other things. Walking distance to restaurants.

Because of the laying of the accommodation, it’s very humid so your clothes and the bed will get a little bit humid

The location is a 3 minute walk from the centre and about a little more than 10 minutes to the famous Lion Rock. The treehouse is very spacious, with 3 levels and its own balcony. You can spot monkeys or in our case they even come up to your balcony and the river that floats is very relaxing! The staff is very friendly and the breakfast that’s included is nice

In the night can be a little cold (we asked for an extra blanket) and the river is a little bit noisy.

Chaminda is a very nice host, he can arrange everything you need and keeps you occupied if you want. He knows about attractions around and can pick you up even from Colombo airport. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Not an issue for us as we had eSIMs, but there didn’t seem to be any wifi.

Great location and the family that run it are really helpful! Tuktuks can be ordered quickly (and sometimes cheaper than the going rate), one morning we couldn’t get one to Lion Rock so they even drove us free of charge, they can even provide onward travel to other cities! The aircon worked well and the temperature of the shower was always great. Sockets near the bed as well. Useful having a net around the bed for mosquitos and the bed was really comfy - just one thing that would have made it better, would have been useful to have a plastic chair or something in the room though, so when you come back sticky and hot you can sit down as the other showers. Not a big thing!

Rooms are standard, but OK. The treehut is not extremely comfortable, there is not a lot of space to leave your stuff. Shower and toilet downstairs a bit of a hassle, but it works fine.

Very friendly people who help you with anything that you need. Location is OK, a bit further away from the main sights around Sigiriya.

Everything! The location in nature is amazing, the treehouse is as comfortable as a treehouse can be, the host and his wife are very friendly and will help with safari, transport,.. The coconutpancakes at breakfast were also yummy
