My 4G eSIM was way faster internet than their wifi, but that was no problem for me. I would also recommend a mosquito net as they can keep you up at night, not many mosquitos though and earplugs solve that problem.

The location is nice, located in walking distance from the colonial English hotels and the town, yet still in a bit more of a quiet area which is peaceful at night. The staff is very helpful, making sure you have everything you need and do not hesitate to help you with any questions. I had a great night sleep here in the very comfortable bed, and a warm and nice shower in the morning. The breakfast is simple but nice with an egg, toast, butter, jam and a banana. I picked coffee but should of course have picked tea as you’re in that region and they do not make coffee very strong.

Nothing- but I would have liked to have been offered the Sri Lankan breakfast rather than the ‘western’ one.

The owner was so helpful and communicative, and the location is perfect because it’s within walking distance of some beautiful sightseeing areas such as Lake Gregory and Pedro Tea Estate as well as the town centre. The bed was the most comfortable that I slept in during my whole trip in Sri Lanka! Would have happily stayed longer :)

The hotel is in worse condition than it is shown on pictures. Wi-fi was not working. There was a group of guests or maybe locals playing cards in the hall in front of the rooms late in the night. Quite annoying. Bad value for money. The priceiest of all our stays so far in Srilanka, although at the time there wasnt that much of free capacities in town ...

They arranged transportation to train station. Breakfast was good, and profesionally served.

Nice, familly run place. Rooms very nice, clean and felt like mountain cottage - something very different to the rest if Sri Lanka :). Stuff was very helpfull and nice. Dinner was home made and very good. We opted for take away breakfast to go to the Horton Plains NP early in the morning and it was very good as well. Simply a nice place to explore the mountains from.

Almost nothing great to tell about this stay. It's an waste of $70 dollars, in case someone's booking this hotel. They charged $30 for an crappy dinner which we ate only 10%. Rest all was nothing. The bathrooms were poorly equipped and slippery. Also in Ceylon it's all premium for an poor breakfast 🥞🍳
