The room was big and clean with a beautiful view of gregory lake. The owner is lovely and very helpful. He let us put the backpacks in the room even if it wasn't prepared yet and he explained us all the activities to do in the city and in the area. He also prepared a delicious sri lankan breakfast. We had also dinner in the hotel as the owner provides a delivery service from a local restaurant

Our stay in Melford Nuwaraeliya was amazing. Despite the bad weather Bandara arranged us a tuktuk-driver, that showed us around. The breakfast was outstanding and the owner Bandara was really friendly and hospitable.

When I visited, the weather was a bit cold, and the room was a little chilly, but there was an extra blanket available. The city center was a short distance away by tuk-tuk, but a bit far to walk.

The room was clean and had a view of the lake. The host had prepared a list of places to visit and restaurants, which they left in the room. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient. The host also arranged a tuk-tuk for me to go to the city center.

It was an awesome experience overall... We stayed here for just one day and I wish we could stay more.. the owner and staff were super courteous and helpful with everything.. the vibes were so good... Felt like living in the mid 90s in England... Definitely would recommend this to everyone who comes here to nuwaraeliya

Fantastic place, room very basic but has all you need. Very clean, spacious, comfortable bed. Breakfast- the best in the whole Sri Lanka ;) I could come back just for that :) also the owner is super nice and helpful.

The rooms are very spacious and clean and the property is only a short walk away from Lake Gregory. The host is super friendly and helpful and the traditional breakfast served in the morning was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The property's location was excellent, just 15 minutes walk from Gregory Park. We even enjoyed a scenic walk from the lake to the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic. Mr. Bandara is an incredibly friendly host. He also helped us arrange a taxi for our onward journey at an affordable rate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this place to friends and relatives.
