One of the best accommodations we had in Sri Lanka so far. The owners are really friendly !! The view is awesome, the rooms are big, clean and airconditioned. The breakfast was really nice. The centre of kandy is a maybe 15 min walk away, perfectly for us. We would definitely come back!!

Can't fault the accommodation or the hosts.

Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome, even tough we were only there for one night. They happily arranged an early breakfast for us and booked a tuk tuk to take us to the station to catch our train. The room was large and comfortable with a big balcony overlooking Kandy lake.

We had a really nice stay in Sun Dove Suite. The owners are really nice and helped us with everything we needed. The view from the balcony over the City is amazing. The only negative thing is, that you cannot open the window in the bathroom because of the monkeys and therefore it was always really wet and the towels couldn't dry.

Lovely and peaceful, amazing views from veranda. The owner was very helpful with organizing transfers for us. The room was extremely comfortable, & clean, plenty of space and a lovely comfy bed. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Thank you.

My partner and I stayed one night and had a great time in Kandy. The accommodation is located on the hill overlooking the lake with great views and is easily accessible by tuk tuk. The room was good as expected and the host cooked and packed us breakfast ready for the early train.

Can’t think of anything

It’s some distance from the centre, up a hill which requires a short tuk tuk to get to the centre but this is a good thing because you get a great view and since Kandy us quite busy it’s nice to be away from the noise and hustle&Bustle. The Homestay has beautiful hardwood floors and the en-suite bathroom is of the standard of European hotels. The hosts are very helpful and kind. Great stay at Sun Dove Suite! Thank you!

Beautiful, elevated location with a breathtaking view down on to the lake and the mountains. In the evening you can see a lit white Buddha statue and a temple, together with the lights of all the houses. Extremely clean. Very nice forniture and a comfortable big bed. The traditional Sri Lanka breakfast was large and delicious. The lady was extremely nice and even made a package with what I couldn’t eat from the breakfast and I could have a tasty takeaway snack on the train from Kandy to Ella. I loved everything!

A fantastic small hotel with immaculate rooms, including the cleanest bathroom we’ve ever had in Asia! Very friendly, welcoming and helpful owners and staff. Only 12 minutes downhill walk to Kandy Lake but well worth getting a tuktuk back - it’s steep! We’d definitely stay here again.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Personnel is super nice, we had warm welcoming, and we additionally received helpful tips, and they organized tuk tuk for us. We didn’t have time to eat breakfast, so we received it for take away, which was very helpful. All this made our stay very enjoyable.
