An excellent experience hosted by a lovely family. Our treehouse was brilliant, located next to a lake with lots of wildlife. Breakfast was always freshly cooked and very tasty every morning. Perfect location for visiting the rocks! Pramoth was always on hand to take us wherever we wanted to go for a fair price.

If you’re afraid of little bugs and geckos, it might not be for you!

We loved our stay - it really felt like authentic Sri Lanka! The wildlife was amazing - we watched a peacock, Heron like birds and the lizards all whilst eating breakfast and the scenery is beautiful. Super close to Lions Rock and the host was more than helpful arranging transport to and from the accommodation!

We had a wonderful time at Sungreen Cottage. The accommodation is perfect for exploring Sigiriya and very clean. We felt very comfortable right from the start, all the staff were very courteous and made our stay perfect. The breakfast was always very tasty and it changes daily. We also ate lunch in the restaurant there several times and found everything super good. We also received lots of tips when planning our excursions and all the tours were booked for us directly through the hotel. Very relaxed and great service! We would definitely come back. Many thanks for everything!

Nothing we didn’t like, just the rooms weren’t cleaned between the days and towels weren’t changed.

The chalet we stayed in was great with a nice look out and the room was spacious with a big bed. The staff were ever so friendly and helpful and even arranged all our tours for us which was very convenient.

The water pressure could have been stronger, but it was sufficient for my needs and didn’t cause any major issues.

Pramoth and his family have been very supportive and friendly. He organized everything for us, such as safari, driver, tuk tuk, tours, and he was very approachable and quick in replying to calls/messages.

The place was amazing. but the best part of it was the service of the owner. He provided everything we needed. He gave us a lot of tipps for our stay and also arranged us taxis and tuktuks!

We had a really really great time at Sungreen Cottage! The small cottages are located in a green and beautiful backyard. When you’re lucky you will see monkeys jumping around on the roofs of the cottages! Traditional breakfast is served outside in a lovely little cabin. The hosts were so friendly and supportive during our stay. We really enjoyed it!

The location is on a quiet street, away from the busy road which makes it the perfect place to enjoy nature and peace. The cottage was nice, it had a mosquito net, and the balcony was exactly what we needed to chill in the evening/enjoy the coffee in the morning. The breakfast was delicious!

We really enjoyed our stay in Sigiriya! The cottages' location is amazing, quiet and remote. Pramoth and his family took good care of us! They organized transfers between the locations, tuk-tuks to get to various places, day trips, laundry, and a massage. Everything went seamlessly, and we felt pampered!
