In the bathroom lots of 🐝 but after complain staff clean the bathroom

Washroom had some durty spots. There was a cockroach and a small frog in washroom.

Location is very close to pasikuda beach. They have a nice pool.

The chrome in the bathroom could go with a deep clean, broken hand shower holder replacing. Sunbeds around the pool would be bonus. Would stay again.

Nice hotel, 20 yrs old. Shame it hasn't been maintained as well as it could have. I understand that times have been hard though. Decent size rooms, great air con, large fridge that works well. Fan. Big bed with duvet, nice linens. Our balcony faced the rear. Overlooking small temple. Great big clean pool. Sunbeds appeared the day we were leaving despite enquiring after some. Walk across the car /bus park opposite to get to lovely beach. Several restaurants and atm nearby. Enjoyed our stay. Did not eat at the hotel. Accepts international card payment for rooms.

The pool could have been cleaner. I would be good to have net above the bed because there was mosquitoes. We did not try the food because there was other good restaurants around.

L’emplacement, the nice room with balcony, the pool. The staff was really attentive. The beach was great , even when there was big wave it was better than other beaches due to the coral reef protecting the bay. One of the best beach at this time of the year.

Rooms are clean but bathrooms quite old/ rusty. Showers are hilariously complicated. Kitchen only served very limited menu. Very noisy dogs next door but they did move me rooms to avoid that. There were 0 restaurants open for dinner...I cycled 5km to check...it was super low tourist season so perhaps its different at other times of the year. . If you have transport no problem,otherwise reconsider staying in town and heading out to beaches.

The bathroom was filthy and could do with a good clean, curtains need replacing as we’re all torn, bedding threadbare, a work shop underneath that was so loud we couldn’t have a nap! Also that is where they prepared the food! When we arrived the pool looked lovely and clean but the next day it was absolutely filthy with scum floating on the surface. Late at night the room next door the tv was so loud it kept us awake until 3.30 am after we had complained to reception twice!!

The bed was like sleeping on bricks, the shower was terrible.

Whatever you do, don't stay at this hotel. We arrived, showed our booking information, they tried to place us into a different cheaper room, when I showed confirmation information for a balcony room. They tried to make me pay more. Really shonky, dishonest behaviour, if you are a lone female traveller avoid this hotel

We had multiple cockroaches in our room. Cleaning is just on the surface. The shower was full of lime. Linen were dirty and ripped. The furniture looked like it would fall apart every second. Will definitely not book again. The hotel is very close to the public beach, so you hear people and ice cream vendors all day and night.

Staff was extremely professional and kind. You can pay with credit card without an additional fee. Pool looked clean.

Such a nice place with friendly staff. We are glad to check into this place. Unfortunately, it was only for a few hours until our transportation was ready to Colombo. Definitely going to visit again. I must mention Anura; he was so supportive and friendly, willing to go the extra mile. Truly an asset to have as a staff member.
