View is amazing. Owners are a really nice and helpfull people. Breakfast with that view are great experience and place is worth every penny spent on it.

view from the balcony is really amazing. the place is perfectly clean and equipped with all one might need. hosts are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was served on our balcony was delicious.

Super View pairs a really good location (both for town, as well as for clombing Ella Rock) with a stunning view and some great hospitality! We were a group of foreign and local friends and we really liked hanging out in the balcony and enjoying the delicious breakfast there!

Suggest investing in new towels for the bathroom and include hand towel.

The view was indeed super, excellent breakfast supplied, good wifi. There are a lot of stairs into the property, so if you have trouble with stairs this is not the best option. Good position from town, not noisey, quick tuk up the road and easy walk back down. Very narrow access to property which is shared by a number of other home stays, so take car if driving in. Always check booking details as this is cash (LKR) only. Lovely couple. Good Value

Had no electricity for the first half hour of being there but obviously out of the owners control. The bathroom had a smell but to be expected considering the location.

View was certainly Super! The breakfast was great. Clean, basic but suited our needs.

When we met the host and we said that it’s not like on the picture and we are a bit disappointed, he wanted to cancel the booking so we had to argue some time. I believe the host is a nice guy but I don’t think this is the way to handle the situation. I know he is doing it for the reviews but I am being realistic. Linens were not very clean as well.

View is amazing but there is another building in front which ruins a bit of the view. Breakfast was very very delicious.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay at this guesthouse. We are not picky and stayed already at many places like this all around Asia but this homestay is simply too expensive for what we got and we don't really understand all the extremely positive reviews. The name, pictures and description promise an amazing view but we had our room on the top floor and the first thing we looked at was a concrete terrace which bothered us bc it was not shown anywhere on the pictures, it is cut off on the pictures. Also right next to the house is a big construction site at the moment which is loud during the day. The room was clean when we arrived but the bathroom was full of mold and smelled so bad each day that it was almost not bearable. The key broke in the lock in the 1st evening but they repaired it directly the next day - the general issue here is that the door cannot be closed from the outside without locking it when you only want to sit outside and then all animals can get inside. The host was not able to communicate properly in English and misunderstood several days our coffee or tea order. On our last morning suddenly we heard noises like gun shots right next to us and got scared - when we asked the host he said it was fire crackers to drive away the monkeys - not cool right next to guests. Overall, I would not really recommend to stay here for this price.

The host picked us up from the train station with his own Tuk Tuk for free and gave us many other rides for free into town or to the Nine Arches Bridge early in the morning.
