The staff are super friendly and cool guys. The breakfast included is the food off their menu and its the best breakfast we've had any where. Located at the better side of hiriketiya. So much more chilled Also they own 2 cute puppies named. 10/10 stay

Amazing location between Dikwella and Hirikateya beach. The people running the place are very friendly, breakfast is delicious and they have the cutest dogs named Surf and Spice.

No hot water (we were informed of this before check-in - but it wasn't a problem at all due to the summer temperatures)

Great location (5 min to a beautiful and quiet beach, 10 min to a great surfing beach with shopping opportunities). High quality food and very nicely arranged (best breakfast and coffee). The young staff is very polite, courteous and hard-working (they organized a great birthday surprise and barbecue dinner for 6 people). Nice lounge area with good music and free water from a water dispenser. We highly recommend the accommodation to everyone! :-)

My grey room could do with a lick of paint and some soft furnishings and somewhere to hang clothes but the bed was comfortable. There was no hot water shower but after day at the beach cold water was just fine .

Breakfast was excellent as were the staff and location. The staff were always friendly and smiling , and couldnt be more helpful. Coffee was amazing 🤩

Really great position between the two beaches, so was the best of both locations! Super friendly, helpful staff who were always happy to stop, chat and help you. The bedroom was large, bed comfortable and own balcony which we loved. The breakfasts were the best of our whole Sri Lankan trip, you could chose off a menu. Each day we had the Sri Lankan breakfast which we loved, many other places we have stayed assume a European traveller would want a 'european breakfast' and thats not so at all. Coffee was so good, the best of our Sri Lankan trip! Thank you Surf n Spice, we loved our stay and were sad to leave!

Room was clean but very moldy. We had to ask to get the room cleaned, it wasn’t daily. Private rooms could use a bit of renovation.

The location is perfect between Hiri beach and Dikwella. It’s located so it’s quiet at night. The staff is very sweet and breakfast is amazing - one of the best I had in Sri Lanka, even better than some luxury and way more expensive hotels. The cafe area is charming and very nice to hang out.

So delicious breakfast! You can choose between different meals and the coffee is one of the best I have tasted so far in Sri Lanka. The staff is so friendly and helpful, with both questions, tips and ordering tuktuk. Can really recommend this place. The dorm doesn’t have an AC, but a fan in front of each bed in the dorm.

Absolutely everything was fantastic! Location was perfect, between Dickwella beach and Hiriketiya beach (both walking distance). Tushare and team were super friendly, always with a smile. The room was very clean, good water pressure and good AC. The breakfast was super delicious and the coffee was definitely the best in Sri Lanka!! Thank you so so much for everything, we will definitely come back!

The noise is hard to escape in Hiri. I had the front room downstairs which was lovely and spacious but I could hear everything downstairs and was woken up by noise from the road/monkeys.

Hard to beat for the price point. Run by a group of lovely local guys; they are very kind and helpful and as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe and comfortable at all times. They organised a fantastic local surf guide for a really reasonable price. The barrista is award winning and reallllyyy knows his stuff scales/aeropress/variety of beans etc - I wasn't expecting to find the best coffee/3rd wave level in this place but I did!

The bed was not super comfy and the bathroom is not really practical. But price value the room is certainly okay.

Great location for acces to both beaches (and the great restaurant Smoke and Bitters), the breakfast is absolutely fantastic and could easily be served in a 5 star hotel. They have a free water fill station.
