Airport hotels are often souless places, but Swanee Grand is an absolute gem! It's a 1920s bungalow with newly renovated rooms around a huge pool. 15 minutes from the airport. The staff were lovely. A great way to end our holiday in Sri Lanka.

The rooms were comfortable especially the beds and the bathroom was great for storage of luggage. Kumar and everyone were very kind and friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely will be back again and reccommend it to others! Can't wait to be back!

The rooms were clean, the property was amazing and had a calm relaxing energy to it. The pool was a perfect, and the breakfast in the morning was pretty good and satisfying.

Charming boutique hotel that used to be a house — it’s not the luxury you’d find in big 5-star resorts, but it was a great base for our holiday. I really enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was served as a set menu, and the rooms were spacious, modern, and very comfortable.

In 2 weeks all over Sri Lanka, it’s the first in which I don’t have any comments about the service. They are very friendly, professional and experimented. Also, the cooking is excellent.

The venue is beautiful. Great service by the staff there. Kumar was always happy to help and went above and beyond when I had limited wifi reception and provided me with a wife extender in the room. Breakfast was pretty decent. I only stayed for a day but the location close to the airport was really helpful.

When dining in, the kitchen was not always super fast, so a bit of patience came in useful. However the food was tasty and adjusted to be less spicy so that the children also enjoyed it.

The hotel is located a 5-10 min Tuk-ride from the beaches and harbour/fish market, and at the same time conveniently close to the airport. Staff was attentive and helpful. The room was new, clean and beautiful. Value for money was unmatched.

Lots of mozzies, but that isn't the hotels' issue. But they do all they can to help you manage this including fans in the dining room to keep them away from diners

Gorgeous hotel, close to the airport with really friendly and helpful staff who care, includes a lovely brekkie. I stayed here as I arrived late at night and wanted to do a day trip to Sigiriya the next day before heading down south. Was perfect for this. Hotel is off the main st so quiet, lovely garden area and pool, room is not fancy, but really comfortable with aircon, fan and fresh air. Was perfect for this type of trip and would highly recommend this hotel

Absolutely nothing!

The photos don’t do this hotel justice. It is a beautiful historical building, sensitively re-designed into a luxury hotel. Rooms are all on one level set around a large pool & gardens. Our room had the most comfortable beds of all the hotels we slept in, in Sri Lanka. The bathroom was super modern & design details were spot on. Location is lovely & quiet but just a short tuk tuk ride into Negombo centre & minutes from the airport. The manager & staff here are so friendly & helpful. We had lunch, dinner & breakfast here & all meals were delicious. Thank you again for the perfect end to our 3 week tour of Sri Lanka. 🙏🙏

Had one night when the bar and serving staff were not working well together, resulting in long delays sering.⁸
