Everything!! The location, the view, the facilities, the food, but overall - the staff are truly incredible, especially Kelum. He and his wonderful team arrange tuk tuks and transfers, mopeds and tours and they bring the most incredible food to enjoy on your balcony (or in your room) with nothing less than silver service. You go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean in this luxurious boutique hotel and in every way possible the staff make your experience magical. With only 5 rooms in the hotel you get peace and calm like few places can ever offer and with essentially a butler style service. This is truly a slice of paradise, so private and exclusive, so special and with such a warm welcome. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in the world. Ever!

A Massive thank you to Team Ten30 for making our stay with you so magnificent. The food was amazing and better value than the beach shacks close by. The presentation of our meals was always stunning and served with big smiles, nothing was too much trouble whatever our request, our room was very spacious with a large fridge, the bed was comfortable, bed linin and towels clean and fresh, the views from our terrace were wonderful including the sunrise and sunsets. Kelum, the manager, was so relaxed with our timings, we could dine whatever time we wanted, his mantra is, the answer is yes what is the question. This is the best hotel, food, and staff we have encountered on our stay in Sri Lanka. SO A BIG THANK YOU TO Kelum (manager) Tushama, Tush (head of housekeeping) Dilshan (kelum number 2) Manoj (master chef) Keep up the excellent work team, Ten30. we hope to see you all again one day in the near future. Breakfast was very good and more than enough food. Location right on the beach offered fantastic sunset views. Pool was small but clean and well maintained. Very refreshing to cool down after coming off the beach. The beach was quiet, clean, spacious and we enjoyed walking up and down. It was about a 20 minute walk to the busier beach area closer to Hikkaduwa. There are some very good options for food and drink within a short walk; nothing overly fancy, but very good quality and prices. We also felt safe walking at night. The food prepared by the hotel staff was also very good and they did there best to accommodate special requests/diets. Really enjoyed listening to the roar of the waves. The guys working at the hotel were wonderful; very kind and considerate, and they always greeted us with a smile. They really went out of their way to ensure our stay was great.

The Staff were absolutely wonderful. They were very helpful and always there if you had any questions. The rooms had everything you need and the luxuries you love to have. Food was delicious and plentiful. With the beach right in front. The view was spectacular.

Super staff. Kelum and his team were extrarordinary friendly and attentive. The beach in front is clean and there were almost no beach boys. Also we liked the quietness of that region of Hikkaduwa. It's a bit further away from the main places of Hikkaduwa, where there's more turmoil. And we had a lot of delicious food. We really enjoyed the stay. Thank you!

The accommodation and staff are absolutely amazing. Location wise it’s a 10-15 minute walk from town but we prefer that and don’t like to be in the noise and crowds so for us perfect! We had the king suite on the top floor and the space, facilities and views were SO good. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast is like a banquet and we also ate our evening meals there and everything was always on point. Don’t think twice just book!

There's no kitchen appliances like microwave etc. but the staff were more than helpful to assist to heat your food and all, they would even come to your room step to help you. But i wish the room was equipped with a microwave and etc, as its an apartment like place, so it would be easy for us to get things done by ourselves, rather than calling the hotel staff. (Cuz there's a big fridge in the room to store the food n stuff)

Overall, excellent stay. Great hospitality and service from the staff, especially from Mr. Kelum. Him and his team took care of us and attended to us in a very kind and professional manner. Place is very private and ideal for couples, even the beach, is not at all crowded. I would really recommend it to anyone, especially couples who prefer a quiet, peaceful and a private stay. Food was very good too, it was fresh and felt home made. Great chef. Highly recommended

Just one thing: There are not enough sunloungers when the hotel is fully booked. Maybe it would be possible to have a few more and out them on the beach in front of the hotel.

What a great stay! The Team of Ten30 Hikkaduwa is so helpful and friendly. There are only 5 rooms, so it's never too busy. It's a quiet part of the beach, which was great, because the beach near to the center of Hikkaduwa can get really full. Everything is still in walking distance, or a short Tuktuk ride away. The curries where really tasty and we even got a cooking demonstration. The rooms are huge and clean, as were the balconies. You can even fall asleep to the sound of the waves, when the door to the balcony is open. As you can probably tell, we had a wonderful time!

Hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Incredible value for money, wonderful sea views from the balcony and whilst having breakfast. Leads straight onto a lovely quiet part of hikkaduwa beach, but you can also walk up the beach into town or get a short tuktuk. What really made this was the staff, they treated us like family and went above and beyond to personalise our stay. The chef is incredible, having grown up on Sri lankan food, I found some of the towns in Sri lanka did quite fusion-y menus, but this hotel and chef made proper authentic Sri lankan food that was the best of our whole trip

The sea in front of the hotel has very rough sea and is not the safest for kids , however walking distance you can see turtles and there are calmer waves .

Best out of the 3 hotels we stayed in . Value / quality was excellent. Big clean rooms with ocean views. Best chef that can cook anything you want. Administrator / receptionist speaks very good English and you can feel he wants you to feel welcome.

We stayed at this property from 29th Dec 23 till 2nd Jan 24 occupying the wholes residence. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean and well set up. Location was very good and Cargills express with in walking distance was very handy. 5 minutes drive to coral reef in Hikkaduwa. The best thing was the staff catered all our needs. The owner had regular contact us make sure our stay was pleasant. All in all it was a very good stay. *****

Nothing really however there was a slight issue with AC temperature of bedrooms when we arrived but was swiftly sorted by staff.

We were party of 12 women and for none of us to have any issues with any aspect of the accommodation speaks volumes. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. Stay came with breakfast which was great, teas and coffees on demand. Would highly recommend.
