Spent a night at Bamboo Tree Transit Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring everything was just right. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious and the beautiful garden added a peaceful, relaxing touch. With a convenient location and such warm hospitality, this place truly feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

The property was amazing, everything you need after a long flight. It was very conveniently located only being a 10minute car ride from the airport. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was great. The family were incredible!! Due to arriving late at night, they told us we could just go to sleep and worry about the paper work in the morning which was very appreciated. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you all so much!

We cannot rate this hotel enough, the couple who run it are so lovely and couldn’t have done enough to accommodate us after a day of travelling and arriving late. The room we had had a small terrace/balcony that opened out onto a beautiful garden area. The room was very clean and everything worked as expected (AC, tv, shower etc). The hotel is very close to the airport so a perfect stay if you are flying in/out. Thanks so much for a great stay, we will 100% be back!!

Perfect place to stop either arriving or leaving Sri Lanka, the food was fantastic and the staff so so friendly and accommodating, it was our last night in Sri Lanka and we asked for curry and string hoppers in the morning and they made it happen even with such short notice.

The communication before our arrival could have been a little bit better, but the communcation on side was very good and friendly. :-)

Simple and clean hotel close to the airport. The beds were comfy and the breakfast good (they even served it in the early morning at 6:45). It‘s close to the main road but still very calm and the owner was friendly. As transit it was perfect for us.

This was our last night before a morning flight back to the UK. We had a warm welcome by the lady owner who showed us our spotlessly clean room and brought us cups of tea to our patio. After a good shower we mentioned to her that were were going out to find some dinner, and she offered us freshly fried rice chicken and vegetables, which we had after nipping out to the nearby beer shop. Delicious. Had a great sleep - it was quiet, comfortable, and with good air-con. We got up, packed and got into the taxi she had arranged, and rode 15 minutes to the airport. The whole thing was so simple, enjoyable and relaxing.

There was a lot of noise during the night coming from other rooms. We would also expect a bigger variety for breakfast or at least something local to try. There was only a juice and omelet with bread.

The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. Our host was very kind and helpful, as well as flexible about the breakfast time.

We were 2 couples. This destination was just awesome. Very clean. Comfy beds & nice shower & airconditioner.. Host Beverly was so comely & we just enjoyed all the servings by her & the delicious breakfast & dinner. Location is just of the main road to airport,which was 10 minutes away. Despite in city the ambience was unbelievably pleasant & full of nature.

Clean place, close to the airport, quiet neighborhood, good for overnight stay. Nice hosts. Clean beds and bathrooms. We were a bit surprised when we didn't find sheet to cover the blanket, but realized later that this is customary in small Sri Lankan guesthouses. I'm sure that if you ask, the hosts will happily provide it (we realized it too late into the night). Overall-good place for inconvenient flight hours
