Our bungalow was near the beach bar and the hotel rented the space to a private party- the music and noise was truly awful we were kept awake until after 1230 am when I went to find the manager - after receiving no help from several calls to reception A shame

Air conditioning in the room quite noise, both insde and outside equipment.

Good breakfast and dinner, always with multiple options to choose from on the buffet. Directly at the beach. When we visited, some waves (nothing the hotel can influence). Good service, always paying attention. Double rooms quite spacious, nice shower.

À great place. We came for the 3. time this yes. Very big room, a green garden and a faboulous beach. What else ? Very nice people. We feel so well hier. We plan to come again next summer.

Preffered more variety in food. I wanted more sea food. Also the actual price was LKR 20k more than the final price shown in the Bookings.com site. Not informing this was unprofessional.

AC was not working well.

Breakfast was exceptional. There was a buffet. There were so many varieties of food. Both Sri Lankan and English. There were live stations for hoppers and omelets. Food was top notch.

All in all it's a good experience. However, the costs are on the high side. May be the property is focusing on foreigners rather than locals.

Our AC stopped working on the last night which put a sweaty end to the stay. Hotel seems to be running a little behind on the repairs and maintenance.

Great pool and nice beach location. The scuba diving was a highlight. Staff were friendly and attentive. Walking distance to reef snorkeling spot with a large verity of fish and coral.

The crows on the beach a little annoying. The staff can be a little forgetful! Also the photos of the rooms a little deceiving - wasn't expecting concrete floor!

The buffets were fabulous. The hotel grounds so spacious and with good facilities, plenty of sunbeds all around. The beach is like in paradise.

The property is a bit tired, in particular our toilet and shower were in need of an upgrade and therefore didn’t feel clean. Some lights didn’t work and lampshades were grubby.

The location is amazing, possibly the most beautiful beach we visited in Sri Lanka. There aren’t many people on the beach and we had no trouble getting a sun bed. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of options. The rooms themselves were well-laid out with plenty of storage.

Very poorly maintained gym. Could do with more activities - eg yoga, some entertainment. Reception staff need to be more knowledgeable / better communication.

Lovely location. Beautiful pool and easy access to beach. Enjoyed the calmness of the sea. Staff were lovely - special shout out for the diving instructor and executive chef. Good buffet - could do with a better range for vegetarians as got quite repetitive.

Calm Hotel and Spa My partner and I recently stayed two nights at this hotel as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is designed really well and the entrance lobby is quite a spectacle when you first arrive. The gardens are really well maintained and the pool is lovely, even if it’s a little warm for my liking! The staff are a stand out here. Always smiling, always greeting you and always ready to help! Special shout out goes to Pramod, the Restaraunt manager, who delivered a lovely meal to our room one evening and to Sehan for his exception service for our romantic private beach dinner. Sehan was incredibly professional and kind and Pramod went above and beyond with any requests that we needed. Would recommend staying here a few nights for some rest and relaxation next to a stunning coast line.

The restaurant didn't open till 7.30pm which meant I had a,very hungry 4 year old.

The hotel had everything you need and was very luxurious. The room looked out over the garden and was a short stroll to the beach and swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and the food was some of the best we had in Sri lanka.
