Stable WiFi was the most important for us and we got it! The rooms are really tiny, but they don’t hide it, you can see it on photos. Impressive fact is how the used a space in such tiny rooms. We even had a desk to work. They really did their best to equip the room as good as possible

The only minor downside was the room size and washroom, which were a bit small, but everything else was perfect. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable stay with excellent service!

I had a pleasant stay at The Residence in Colombo. The location is excellent, making it convenient for travelers. The service was exceptional, with Mr. Imran and the morning staff being extremely helpful, especially during check-in. Their warm hospitality made the experience smooth and welcoming.

Very pleasant stay thanks to the service of Imran. Room is clean and has enough space for 2 large backpacks. Location is great if you dont mind taking the tuk tuk to some tourist areas located further away (cost <2 euro's)

We were given a room just by the reception area so it was quite noisy throughout the night and in the mornings. This didn’t impact us too much but might do if you are a light sleeper.

Very basic rooms which was just what we needed for a quick stay in Colombo after a long flight. Vert easy to get a pick me into central colombo (a tuk tuk cost about 300LKR) Came with a kettle and snacks and water, good hot water from the shower and comfy bed. Also had good wifi.

Room dimension was okay for short stay of 2 -3 days.

It was located in the center in Galle road with all facilities nearby. Imran at frontdesk was very helpful and provided information about travel within city and arranged taxi to Sigiriya in short time.

very nice people, room was clean and cool, bath room as we like it as Europeans and the price/service relation truely is setting benchmarks. Internet was strong enough, so i could do video conferences from my room. if you do not search luxury for 10times the price, this location has earned my recommendation. thanks to Mohamed, for cleaning my room do good every day, while keeping my privacy.

The layout of this hotel is a little strange. Reception is on the 3rd floor. You can't go up from ground floor without the guard's key card. You can't go from floor to floor via stairs—you can only go down to ground floor, and then up by lift. Felt like a hazard in case of a fire, honestly. Rooms were small (not too bad, but a bit tight). Front entrance is pretty tough to find, especially at night.

Comfortable beds and pillows, stocked with all amenities, bathroom toiletries, and even complimentary snacks and cookies (very thoughtful!). Everything was spotless. The location is nice. It's very close to the shoreline (it's the next street over), near a bus stop and has many options for eating nearby. Quiet enough at night. They have stringent security in place.

You need to climb a flight of stairs to the lift and another to the hotel reception. Sri Lankans are very hospitable and will help you carry your luggage. I am not sure how a wheelchair or stroller can access it.

Close to the Galle Road and Bambalapitiya Centre. Room was clean compact and the beds were comfy. Great value for money and staff are very helpful and accommodative.

The location is a bit far from anything touristic. Although the receptionist was kind and polite, he couldn’t answer any question that was not related directly to the hotel. I asked him about basic stuff, like the cost of taxi from the airport, about trains from Colombo, and he didn’t know, and didn’t try to check it out and help.

It’s clean and comfortable. The terrace has nice view of the ocean. The security guard was very helpful.
