A most beautiful and stylish property that was a highlight of our holiday. The location was great, the breakfasts delicious and pool and garden tranquil. Loved watching the monkeys in the jungle garden.Hosts were so friendly and helpful

Design of hotel and the surrounding greenery created a lovely environment. Breakfast was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was lovely.

My room was in another building which was a 5 minute walk from the main house, but they have a tuktuk service until 8pm to take you from the main house to the rooms.

Beautiful setting with nice pool and friendly and welcoming staff. The owners were around every evening and keen to chat about my day / evening trip which made me feel well looked after and safe. Great location opposite coconut tree hill and near lots of great restaurants and the beach.

Stopped here for thee days on our tour of Sri Lanka and The Spice House was by far the best place we stayed Hotel and grounds are beautiful, loverly swimming pool, fantastic breakfast, the staff and owners are all so friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend a stay here if your heading to Mirissa 👍👍

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with beautiful details everywhere. We stayed in the villa and apart from the huge room and great pool, we got to watch monkeys play in the nearby trees. Breakfast was the best we had in sri lanka. The owners and staff were really helpful and friendly.

Not possible to get to the villa by car (very narrow road). We parked at the main house. On a positive note you get a free tuktuk to come to main house for breakfast but it adds a bit of a hassle for me.

We stayed at roof top room at Villa, it is 5 min walk from the main road, and 5 min walk from the main hotel. It is quite street. Amazing pool, lots of space and very nice interior. Shared kitchen and fridge filled with drinks. Big terrace you have just for yourself.

An amazing place to stay. Welcoming and considerate owners and staff, very generous with their time and hospitality. Breakfast was fresh, fabulous and varied. Very helpful in booking excursions, tuk tuks and taxis when needed. The buildings and gardens are beautifully designed with many tasteful interior design features throughout.

Divine pool, grounds and architecture. Wonderfully designed. Very beautiful! The owners were so warm and attentive. They treated us like old friends. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit served with a Hibiscus flower, and always a Sri Lankan traditional treat to accompany the Western eggs and toast. The staff were all efficient and friendly. Wonderful birdlife!

The Spicy House is a wonderful accomodation right in the center of Mirissa, walking distance from beach and several restaurants. The hotel is run by an incredible team, you feel like home...everything is well decorated, with attention to details. The pool and gardes are the highlight of this accomodation. Breakfast was also very good.

There was some construction work going on next to the villa. So at times a bit louder.

Beautiful premises. Spacious room with a lot of details. The bathroom is nice. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. Breakfast was delicious and offered daily changing specialties. Pool with a beautiful view.

A total gem of a place, the most beautiful buildings set amongst a tropical oasis 2 minutes from the beach and hustle and bustle of Mirissa yet you feel like you are in the middle of the most peaceful tropical garden estate. The food and hosts were exceptional and the whole experience was 10/10
