This hotel was stunning. It’s a boutique hotel, like a guest house. The staff were really kind and lovely, and took care of us so well. The room was comfortable and views were amazing just like the photos. We had dinner and breakfast and the food, coffee and juices were amazing!

Nothing! Some dishes could be a bit better but I am nitpicking

A hidden gem above Kandy’s lights, this place is totally worth it. In every room, you’ll get a bird’s eye view of Kandy and the rooms are positioned such that you’ll get to see the sunrise. The place is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. You could truly tell that this is owned by an architect that paid close attention to details. Kogul is an absolute superstar, and we found every staff member friendly, respectful and attentive.. There aren’t very many hotels I have been to where I felt that “I could live here”. The Summit made us feel that way. P.s. they offer candle light dinner at rooftop, that is well worth it.

The location is a bit far from the city center (you can not just easily walk around). No pool in the hotel that might be relevant for summer time

We enjoyed the breakfast and the evening meal. The property provides wonderful views of Kandy and the surrounding mountains. The accommodation was very good and staff friendly and helpful.

It was quite hard to get to up a very steep road but I guess if you want the views there's always a price.

We stayed in The Summit for 3 nights and it was absolutely fantastic accommodation which exceeded expectations. The views were spectacular of Kandy and it provided a peaceful retreat after being in the busy city . Staff were friendly and provided a great service with delicious food .

There is nothing I could compain about.

The premises are in good condition and the views from the room are great. The room had a lot of space and light. The staff was very attentative and helped with everything they could. Food was also very well done and tasty. It’s situated up in the hill but you can reach it easily with a tuktuk or taxi.

While we chose the location for the view we did not realize what kind of road will lead there. It is a narrow uphill drive. If you are by tuktuk this will be a struggle.

Each room has a stunning view over the city. It is especially cool at night with all the city lights in the valley.

If you are sensitive to light when sleeping- the curtains don't block all the light.

The view is breathtaking. The room was perfect and big. No walls. Just windows overlooking the view .and a nice balcony. The location is 15 minutes driving to Kandy..up the hill. The staff was very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

The summit is an excellent place to stay if you're in Kandy. Views are incredible, food was lovely (sri lanken or western) and the staff were brilliant - especially Pradeep who helped us greatly from organising transport and day to day activities to sorting out train tickets. The rooms and bathrooms were pristine. Waking up to the mountain sounds and a panoramic sunrise view was a once in a lifetime experience. Unbeatable!
