Not much to complain about. The monkeys are a little troublesome on the balcony, hard to relax there but difficult to control that. Staff were very helpful when one came into our bedroom!

Very nice ambiance at the Trees, we were greeted with a lovely welcome tea and flower and kind staff. Everyone was so nice and really went out of their way to help. The room was spotless and a special effort was made for our honeymoon which was very sweet. The pool area was gorgeous and very relaxing. Towels provided too. We had cocktails and dinner one of the evenings which was very tasty and staff were very attentive. Great breakfast and nicely designed rooms and bathroom. Great location, 10min walk to the lake and other sights. Easy to get tuk tuk back.

Great view location and staff attitude . Nice infinity pool with Bar made it more enjoyable. Reception staff was super helpful, gives you feeling like 7 star 😀

All the staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean! The rooftop pool was beautiful with amazing views and also the food at the hotel was lovely, but probably slightly more expensive.

We had an amazing stay at the trees, the staff were so lovely, kind and attentive, the food was insanely good, and the cocktails! The rooms are so lovely, spacious, clean, just really nice. The pool and rooftop bar- wow! We absolutely loved it and chose to eat there and have drinks there in the evening, the most amazing veiw of kandy, picturesque, beautiful pool, so relaxing, would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone!!! Great location as well!!

Very fancy hotel. Felt like real luxury staying there. Price for room and food and drinks was a little higher than other places we had stayed but it was a nice treat. The pool was stunning - we only had one night there and we wished we had booked 2!

The rooftop pool and bar gave spectacular views over Kandy. The staff were helpful. The decor was lovely and in house coffee shop was a nice feature. We would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous hotel with lovely views of Kandy Lake. The staff were very welcoming, giving flowers and tea on arrival. They helped to make the sofa bed for us and ensured we were comfortable. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect location. Breakfast was lovely! Freshly made waffles and eggs.

The only comment I have is that the safe did not work and the description failed. Additionally, it took some time for the problem to get solved.

The location of the hotel was very good and a short walk away from the city centre. The view of the hotel was amazing. I had breakfast and diner twice and the food was great. The room was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated.

We had an amazing stay at The Trees, Kandy. We weren’t sure it would live up to the photos, but absolutely does. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern, stylish and spotless, and equally the room and balcony were incredibly nice. A tranquil and peaceful oasis away from the main town, and walkable in 5/10 mins (not suitable if you can’t walk up steep hills). The highlight was the rooftop infinity pool, which offered amazing views over the lake and temple, and always had space to sit / lounge, and even had it completely to ourselves in the morning. Would absolutely recommend.

Everything worked well -maybe breakfast was a bit limited, of course you could order anything from kitchen but a "recommendation list" could have been helpful -> but this really not any concern or problem.

Nice, medium size hotel very close to city centre. Service extremely professional and friendly (rarely seen so good care and professionialism; especially with the gentleman managing restaurants and lady managing reception). The pool is the star of this location -with nice arrangements and super view. Rooms were nice, good sized and very quiet.

The Trees Kandy is a jewel, superbly situated overlooking the lake in Kandy. As soon as you enter you know its something special, from the welcoming staff, calming tea, luxurious space. The room did not disappoint, thoughtfully appointed, with everything you need and a gorgeous view. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent but the jewel is the roof top pool and bar, where you can enjoy freshly cooked food of your choice.

Great location overlooking the lake with rooftop pool and bar, perfect for sunset drinks. Rooms and all public areas are spotlessly clean, rooms are spacious and well air-conditioned with large comfortable beds. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful.

Very expensive breakfast - we paid about double for breakfast than we did for dinner. The breakfast was good but seemed a bit out of kilter with the other food prices.

Amazing location within walking distance to the town and with amazing views over the lake. The staff were excellent, friendly and nothing too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the Sri Lankan curry was exceptional and good value too - prices generally match the standard of the hotel apart from the breakfast - see below. Loved the modern design and most importantly the bed was super comfortable.

The staff were very helpful in resolving the problem of our missing luggage on arrival and throughout our stay. The views from the rooftop pool were stunning and the food was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend!
