We have a fabulous time at the Travellers Inn. The building is modern, spacious, and bright and the rooms were large with great bathroom. A highlight was the gorgeous common area with fantastic views of the mountains. We were well looked after by Lakmini (who is a great cook) and her son Ruka. We also recommend you try the vegetable soup while you are there - hearty and delicious 🥰

There was very little we didn’t like

The family running the place are the absolute sweetest, and made sure that we had everything we needed for a great stay. They even packed us lunch for our journey back to Colombo. The views are excellent at the property, and enjoying the fire in the evening with the staff and other guests made it so cozy. The staff were always bringing us cups of tea - such a great vibe overall.

the place is a bit loud in the night because nearby is a hindu chruch starting singing at 5 a.m but thats not the hotels fault, the hotel itself is really quiet

Very welcoming family,it felt like our home! This was the best place which we have visited! Welcoming with tea and busicut, and their food was delicious which was cooked by their mom! The breakfast and the dinners were wonderful! The family boy speaks very good English and very good advice on what to do, We went to tea factories and water falls with the boy's tuk tuk and he showed us beautiful places and gave us a superb service. Very good hot water and beautiful view. This is the best place to visit in Nuwara Eliya we loved the stay.

No privacy, common balcony other people's can walk near the window. No soap in bathroom, we booked with breakfast but we didn't get it.. overall not happy.

The room, bathroom and the general area was clean. The owner offered us refreshments when we arrived. They were all available to attend to any of our needs. The view was fantastic from our room. Our choice of delicious breakfast was served. Hot water kettle also available.

We had a fantastic stay at the Travellers Nest Inn. The room had a fantastic view and was spacious and comfortable. The owners are wonderful people, we felt very welcome. The home cooked food was incredible and some of the best we’ve eaten since being in Sri Lanka. We made a mistake of miscounting how much money we had left at night but no problem as we were taken to town by the son via tuktuk to an ATM. Top hospitality from the mother and son. We would recommend anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya to stay here

A comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and provided everything you needed. They even upgraded our room with a mountain or balcony view for a reasonable price.  The rooms are spacious and comfortable. You'll get a common fireplace too. The food was very tasty. Highly recommended.

very friendly hosts but definitely not intrusive! they give you enough space but are there when you need help or just a cup of tea :) room was very spacious, cosy bed and warm shower! Son and mother are a super duo, very helpful. breakfast was astonishing! definitely recommend!

Travellers nest inn has comfortable, clean rooms and a very nice view. The family is very lovely and welcoming. The dinner there was just amazing, heaps and delicious. Make sure you eat there at least once. We can recommend the accommodation.
