The Lagoon view which can see through the balcony was exceptional. My whole family enjoyed the evening sunset. And also the staff was very friendly and provided good service. Their Indian menu was very delicious. Me and my family loved it. It's ideal place for the people who like to spend calm and quiet environment.

Staying at Trinco Lagoon Hotel is a wonderful experience. The room facilities were very nice and the view fronting the lagoon was wonderful. In general, everything was good.

Could use more electrical outlets: e.g., to recharge phone or plug in laptop. Not very close to any shops or (other) places to eat.

Clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good meals available on request. Early check-in was allowed - I arrived on the overnight train, so that was helpful.

You need to drive to access the sites which wasn’t an issue for us but something to note.

The rooms were perfect - very clean, spacious, comfortable and had all the facilities you would need. The staff were always available and extremely helpful. They have a menu for room service which was really well priced and their own restaurant which was really nice - we enjoyed breakfast delivered to our room.

The AC worked good, hot shower, nice fridge. The staff was friendly and helpful in every issue. The food was good and cheap. The location is very quiet, but it is not close to the beach or other tourist points. No problem for us, since we rented a motorbike.

However, there was a drawback with numerous dogs outside barking at night, impacting the quality of my sleep.

My stay was decent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience. The room met expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The location was excellent, and offered a beautiful view of the lagoon.

Rooms are fairly clean. If you took a closer look at the tiles and the couch, you could notice one or another breadcrumb, hairs etc here and there. Nothing ouf the ordinary though. In my opinion not all the rooms offer the same degree of comfort in terms of privacy, noise protection. One e. g. is on the ground floor next to the reception. When entering my room I had to pass another room via a sort of outdoor terrace from which I could look right into the other room, which probably was not ideal for that room's guest. It's hard to know about this when you book since, as is the case for most accomodations, pictures show just the rooms themselves and not the general layout of the premises. So just check with the hotel when booking to get the broader picture.

Excellent budget accomodation. Conveniently located, although you probably will prefer to take a Tuktuk rather than walking to reach sites such as the bus stand, Fort Frederick etc. Staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Owner himself spent about half an hour trying to help me with an online bus ticket booking. Bathroom is rather basic (the typical all-in-one / sink next to the shower next to the toilet without any separation setting), but everything was fully functional and comfortable.
