I don't understand how and why people enjoy this place. Yes the pictures look very convincing but this is not a hostel. It says that has a 4 bed room bunk bed but in reality you have go through another room to get into this. It's very unhygienic and has no air inflow. The staff don't seem to care and its literally on a very small road in the middle of no where. If you need to get food or any groceries you have to either walk for a very long time or else buy them from the restaurant for a very high price. I was alright with all of these until it was night as I said earlier they aren't a hostel so they don't really care if you exist. They blast music in the restaurant till 2 am in the morning, this is what tipped me off to leave such a review. They advertise they have a pool, and yet that not a pool inside the premise you have to walk to a completely different location for it. (Don't care about it given the price). There are zero hang out areas and literally don't have a place to sit apart from sitting on the expensive restaurant (You'd be forced to leave if you don't buy anything). They do have a pool table for which they charge if you want to play. Overall this is just a scam. I wouldn't recommend even as a layover before the flight. I'm sure there must be much better locations in Negombo than this.

The 4 bed room bunk beds are actually 6 beds and the place is not a hostel its a restaurant. You are not allowed to sit anywhere if you don't pay for food.

It's not even hostel. Thats bunk beds behind resturant with live music and heavy drunked locals (100+ at same time, very loud). Location is sketchy and dangerous. You cant sit anywhere if you don't pay for something in restaurant. Staff is agressive when you just ask them questions. Avoid this place

It was super loud in the bar outside in the evening and there was no where else to sit and chill out as a hostel member without buying something from the bar. So essentially could only hang out in the room but the Wi-Fi didn’t reach there! It’s more like a restaurant with rooms attached than a hostel

A really good hostel for your stay in Negombo! It’s quite modern and the bathrooms are good. The staff were very helpful. The best thing is the free use of the pool in their sister hotel!

There's really nothing I didn't like. The staff was quite friendly and my stay was amazing. I only wish they had more local food options at the restaurant but I get that the vibes there are more upscale, mordern and touristy.

It's the best stop for anyone starting off their trip through Sri Lanka. You're able to get an all-you-can-eat continental breakfast at their sister hotel for around 2000 laks as well as access to their pool. It was best way to recover from my long flight. The bed bods are clean with your own socket and reading lamp. The bathrooms are clean and offer hot water. There are plenty of them so I never had to wait in line.

The staff was not attentive. I asked please if I could change the bed because it was full of ants (female room of 4) and they didn't believe me, they had to check it and saw that it was full of ants. They told me to wait 5 minutes and I was waiting 1 hour. I asked again and they asked me again to wait 5 minutes. The boy told me that the “girl” who changed the sheets was not here and that no one could do it. I told him that he could, and that I could too, if he gave me the sheets I would change them. He told me to wait 5 minutes more and that he would come to the room. she never showed up. I had to sleep all night with ants. At midnight the staff turned on the light and started talking to a client who arrived, without respect for those of us who were sleeping. In short, very rude. I will not repeat.

Nicest hostel I stayed in in Sri Lanka! Super clean, beds were comfy, and bathrooms were so nice. There’s a restaurant attached to it which is great if you arrive late. Also near lots of places to eat, even though it’s an expensive part of town. The pool at the sister hotel next door is also fab and so nice that we could use it. Arranged transport to the airport too and let me shower before my flight. And the staff were so incredibly friendly.

The hostel was lovely. Very nice rooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable. Access to a lovely pool down the road, as well as a nice restaurant at the hostel. Staff were very helpful in giving recommendations and booking us a car to our next location.

I guess if someone was looking for a quieter stay, I’d advise against staying here. Evening parties go until midnight - 1am.

Everything! The A/C, the beds (would be nice if there were curtains though), the showers, the bar food and drinks, and the lively atmosphere in the evenings. It’s the perfect hostel in my opinion!

Our dorm (4 persons) was a hallway to another dorm so a lot of people walking through the dorm. Furthermore, there was a band performing and the music was very loud and until a late time.
