Great location with only a short walk to the beach. Extensive breakfast each morning which was fantastic. Host was amazing. It was a mid budget hotel and above standard for its price.

Rooms had a dirty toothbrush cup but other than that all was good.

Really handy for the beaches. The road is super busy but that's Mirissa for you. Lots of places to eat nearby. Very helpful owner and a good breakfast. Can rent snorkels and arrange trips, etc through the owner.

Lovely host, so helpful and kind. Fantastic breakfast fresh fruit platter each morning was plentiful, loved the bone china and fresh coffee. Simple, clean room that was comfortable. Great location, just walk down the stairs to beachfront Cafe and beach walking track.

The location is just incredible--it's just steps away from turtle bay where you can snorkel with turtles right from the shore. It's also just a short walk to coconut tree hill. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a nice outdoor space, and the owner was super friendly and works very hard to ensure that you enjoy your stay.

Outside of our room was the ventilation of the neighbor restaurant and it often smelled bad. But only on the balcony. Inside the room it was perfect.

The hosts were very friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was a well working AC and a moskito net. The location is excellent: 1 minute walk from the beach, a bit outside of busy and noisy Mirissa. Best of all was the breakfast. We booked Sri Lankan Breakfast and it was fabulous. Absolutely recommend it!

Lacking some things desired for a longer stay like wardrobe/storage. We were only there for 5 nights but still nowhere to put our things

Incredibly lovely owner. The property is super close to a lovely beach with turtles and a nice walk from Mirissa beach. The breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of fresh fruit, served on the terrace outside your room at a time of your choosing. The Sri Lankan breakfast which he offered to us on the last day was particularly amazing!

Turtle Reef Guest House in Mirissa is a hidden gem! The location is perfect, just steps from the beach, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The host was very friendly and let us check in early. The highlight is the massive complimentary breakfast, which includes a deliciously fresh fruit bowl, tea, coffee, and an array of authentic Sri Lankan dishes. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mirissa!

Slightly pricy for the small room place but clean with working ac, fan and mosquito net.

The place is located at a great location in the heart of Mirissa on turtle beach right on the front side of the property. It’s like you have your own personal private beach where you can swim with the turtles when the sun is out. We were unlucky as the rain gods were not in our favour. Coconut tree hill is 5 mins walk away which gives you the edge to choose to go when the crowd is not around which is a big plus. The srilankan breakfast at this property is just wow, simple with local flavours and fresh fruits along with the friendliest staff.

The location was right near the Turtle Beach at Mirissa the staffs behavior was very good and so was the breakfast! Overall had a great stay! Will recommend this hotel if you are on a tight budget!!!

We loved our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable sitting just off the main road a few steps from the beach. The little patio area was great for relaxing and breakfast - which was delicious and plentiful. The hosts were lovely, very friendly and helpful

We happened to be there on an very hot and humid day, so despite the fans, the room was a little hot.

A very good little guest house for travellers on a budget. The room was clean. The breakfast delicious. The staff extremely nice and welcoming. Biggest plus: you have a direct access to the beach!

I loved staying here. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the location was perfect! - Close to Mirissa beach and restaurants but also nice and quiet. The host was lovely and kind and helped me sort out my taxi to the airport. The breakfast was amazing - loved all the fresh fruit!
