The location was wonderful with a nice green forested area outside. Breakfast was ample with eggs, toast, fruit and other items.

No soap in the bathroom. The room was very dark at all hours with poor lighting making it impossible to read inside. No bedside tables or lights. Pool was quite cloudy. Situated on a busy noisy rd, quieter late at night. A few tweaks would make it perfect.

Beautifully decorated property in and out. Spotlessly clean. Well maintained. Comfy bed. Great bathroom. Nice balcony. Air con worked well. There was only a sheet on the bed but we were given blankets when we asked. Pool. Sitting area outside and indoor lounge area. Good breakfast. Dinner available. Jug and tea and coffee in room. Staff were great at providing extra water, loo rolls and towels late at night when I got food poisoning, which was much appreciated (Avoid Empire Cafe). Nice bush view from dining balcony. Lovely staff. Would stay again.

Walls are thin so you can hear a lot from outside Location is quite far out of town and all along a main road uphill Wifi didn't work very well Pool was being cleaned both times I went to use it

It is a bit away from everything so you have to rely on the tuk-tuk to move around, no options for dinner/drinks that we could find at walking distance.

The property is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Our bedroom was huge and the bathroom was newly refurbished, the aircon working properly. The staff was very attentive and helped us a lot to make our stay comfortable, my partner was sick and they went above and beyond to take care of him. The location is a bit away from Kandy, in a peaceful corner surrounded by the jungle. The pool looks nice but we did not use it as it was raining. There's also a convenient tuk-tuk service with reasonable prices.

Clean and welcoming room, breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful place to watch the birds, the pool was fantastic, and we had all the facilities we needed. Loved it!

The Veraima Kandy is a lovely little hotel from which you can explore Kandy and easily reach the Sri Dalada Maligawa, for example. The staff and the owner are super attentive and helpful and give lots of great tips. The owner even drove us to a restaurant and picked us up again afterwards. That's great customer service!

The staff was friendly and the room & bathroom was big and clean. 15mins drive to the city center,easy to locate. Pool was good. Our kettle was not working, but was replaced immediately when asked. Since we were traveling with a toddler,we really wanted the kettle and this saved us! Breakfast was good,Air conditioning in the room was just right. The balcony was tiny but served the purpose of getting fresh air. Surrounded by well mainted garden and plantation crop trees.

Having hand soap next to the bathroom sink would have helped (although we just used the shower gel), and also a rotating wall fan in the dining area to keep away mosquitos. Also just a few hooks and hangers to hang clothes would have been handy.

Excellent value for money, extremely friendly staff, great tuk-tuk driver (thank you Lassa!), beautiful location surrounded by nature, nice swimming pool to cool off in, and lovely breakfast. The hotel made my daughter's birthday very special!

Pool could have been cleaner and it was noisy at night time from other guests you could hear in other rooms and lobby area door being opened and closed during the night. There was also Road noisy and dog barking

Nice location a bit away from the city, pool was nice to relax in, good breakfast. We did cook along which was nice on a rainy afternoon. Good value for Kandy. Staff were very nice and helpful. Provided us with packed breakfast and tuk tuks when needed.

If there was a fridge in the room it would be perfect. It is slightly noisy at night but Kandy is extremely noisy in general so I don't think you'll find somewhere much quieter. Just the nature of the area.

Lovely hotel.. the rooms and surroundings are so beautiful. Really traditional vibe. The pool area is perfect for chilling after a busy day of walking. Rooms are really big and comfortable, and staff are very helpful and attentive. Great place to stay!

The barking of dogs in the area from time to time, but it seems to be a problem in almost all parts of Sri Lanka... there are a lot of stray dogs everywhere.

A nice hotel, tasty food, good breakfast. Room with classic wooden furniture. You have easy access to all areas by car or tuk tuk. A nice pool, but we didn't use it because we had activities and visits in Kandy and its surroundings. The owner and Gaian were very nice and provided us with all the information we needed, recommended places and tours in the area. In fact, all the staff were nice and ready to help you with anything. We also went to an Ayurvedic massage parlor recommended by him when I asked if they had a massage, where he also arranged a car for us to go and come back with. If you have time, it's worth a try.

Bed was too hard for my taste

Beautiful backyard with a nice pool, delicious breakfast and beautiful rooms with wooden gorgeous furniture. Room had a terrace and coffee and tea. I liked that they didn't use plastic bottles but instead had reusable glass ones. Room was very clean. Also complimentary pick-up from Kandy was amazing.

The only noise that came through was the mosque call for prayer at 5am. Nothing the hotel can do about that. Also, we didn't enjoy the main meal we had in the restaurant, grilled chicken with chips - it was underwhelming.

It was a great room and bathroom - good-sized breakfast too. Deluxe double bedrooms with balcony is the best choice. 👌🏼 The staff were really helpful and although we did not use the pool it was secluded enough to use. The location is slightly outside of downtown, which is great as there is less noise 😀 from cars and vans...
