Very quiet and chilled hotel. They sere very helpful with arranging us the tour and giving us Great suggestions for the rest of the trip. There is a nice swimming pool to rest and chill after a long day, and food was Great too!

It was a 5 to 10 minutes drive by Tuktuk to the city center, but this made the hotel the perfect place to relax and get away from the city chaos.

We loved the kindness of the staff. They were the first one to help. The room, place for eating and swimming pool with its beauty made us feel so relaxing. It was nice coming 'home' after a visit to the busy city.

Very minor things: the Wi-Fi was not very strong. The location is nice when it comes to the jungle view, but there is a road right next to the hotel, which you hear. But I didn’t feel too disturbed-would still 100% recommend!

The hotel is very nice, our room was super pretty. Everything was clean, the pool a welcome refreshment in the evening. The decorations very nice.The food was excellent. The best part was our wonderful host Lasi. He is the heart and soul of this hotel, thanks to whom I would 100% recommend anyone to visit! He made us feel so comfortable. We arrived super early and were allowed to sleep in a free available room while ours was being cleaned and we received complimentary tea and coffee. We got a super nice breakfast once at 6 am because we wanted to start a tour early. On the day of the departure Lasi went to the train station for us before 5 am to get the train ticket and waited in the queue!

Bathroom is not good

The apartment has a good kitchen and dining. The two bedrooms are also good but one bedroom does not have windows. It has only one toilet and water was not draining out properly in the shower area.

It was very noisy at night, you could hear people in the lobby and other rooms sometimes late into the night. There is also a tannoy nearby that plays chanting from 5am till 6am every morning which woke us up. They do not have a card machine, thankfully we had cash so we’re able to pay for our stay but had we not had enough cash we would have had to get a tuk tuk to get some. It is a little far from the city centre so you will need a tuk tuk to get around.

The property was very nice and the room was spacious, it has a lovely little pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. There is a tuk tuk driver on site who can take you places or they can arrange one for you.

We enjoyed the stay at Veraima Kandy very much. Rooms vere clean and spacious. Staff was very kind and helpful. We also took cooking lesson here. Mr. Gayan drove us around the city, where we visited beautiful botanical garden and then he took us to local market to buy various kinds of vegetable and fish for our cooking class. Cooking class was lead by Mr. Manjula who taught us how to prepare selection of traditional delicious curries, which we enjoyed later at our dinner.

Location is a bit far away from city center. Sometimes challenging to arrive there but owner provide a free pick up tuk tuk at your departure and arrange all you need..

Place is really comfortable, nice and quiet. Swimming pool is really amazing to have to enjoy the stay when you stress out. The treated me outstanding.

Beautiful place, well maintained, luxurious, and spacious. The whole place is well maintained with a beautiful garden, and the interior decor is stunning. Unfortunately, we could not able to use the swimming pool, which is well maintained as well. The breakfast served is really impressive. The staff is so helpful with fulfilling our needs. Arranged laundry service for us which is very helpful.

The location is very remote and there is nothing reachable by foot. So not really recomendable for a short stay if only for travelling trough Kandy.

The room was so beautiful, spacious room with nice furnishing. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, lots of different plant and trees. The pool area was a nice place to relax by in the warm days. We had dinner two days in a row at the hotel. They served local food and it was absolutely delicious. The best thing about veraima is the amazing staff. They are really helpful and kind. We would definitely come back to veraima again.

The property is cute and homely. My room was big with a balcony overlooking the pool and the bed was huge! All the staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The pool is small but lovely, I really enjoyed my morning swims. Excellent value for money. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the evening meals are tasty too. I highly recommend Veraima for your stay in Kandy. I'll definitely be back! Thanks for everything 🙏

Had a lil bit of trouble getting hot water for our shower but staff was helpful in finding a solution.

We loved everything. Very comfortable place to call home for a few days. Everyone was helpful and friendly and our breakfasts were delicious. Rooms were super clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Pool area was also very relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing 2 nights stay - had a warm welcome after arrival, staff was super friendly and helpful with everything we asked about - a private yoga lesson, train tickets, laundry etc.. their tuk-tuk driver Susantha who took us around, was also a nice and modest person. Very cosy hotel, with enjoyable shady restaurant surrounded by greenery and pleasant pool area. I especially appreciate a small, but for me important thing - usage of metal straws (instead of one-time plastic ones). Thank you again :)!

The breakfast consisted of fruits, omlette and coffee/tea and juice . They also provided us a welcome drink which was quite pleasant. The staff helped us book a train ticket waking up at 5 am and going to the train station. Extremely helpful and a great budget stay!
