Very easy people, very quiet at night and close to the beach. They also offer food for reasonable prices, especially the breakfast i came to like a lot. Good coffee (Espresso) aswell.

Mossie net needs to be a 4 poster style as it drapes over you in bed.

Excellent food and welcome from the hosts. Good place to chill with the hammocks and well-stocked library.

The room gets very hot despite the fan being on, but they have rooms with ac. No soap in the toilet. Many angry dogs in the area.

Nice place near the beach. The sunrise is nice from the beach. Room is clean , bed comfy with mosquito net. Toilet in the room is clean with good water pressure. The owner can arrange almost any kind of activity due to his many contacts in the area. All this with very short notice.! Good food, one night we were lucky and given rice and tasty curry for free! Thanks! 👍

Lovely family run this guest house with Restaurant on site with great food . Great location , not far from beach and nice and quiet . Clean comfy rooms with comfy bed 👍. I loved it here and was able to explore everything close by on my motorcycle .

Vibushan was very keen to help me with everything that came up. Rented a scooter with him and really enjoyed it. The day of check out I could leave all my luggage in the room until the evening. Enjoyed my stay there!

Amazing hosts, did everything to let me feel extremely welcome and at home. They are currently constructing a new restaurant and even stopped the constructions while I was there to not cause too much noise and keep the privacy. Invited me for a delicious sri lankan rice & curry for dinner and always offered tea. Great place to stay when in Nilaveli!

The owner came across as a bit untrustworthy to us after trying to get us to shift to an air-conditioned room at an increased price for our first night. When we said we were happy with our current bookings, it turned out one of our two rooms had been double booked. I agreed to shift to the air conditioned room for the first night at the price of our fan only price, thinking it would be worth the change of room for a night of air conditioning, but then found the remote had been taken away.

Comfortable and clean rooms, a good restaurant and a great location to a beautiful beach.

Fantastic place and good value for money. We were welcomed on arrival with a smile and cold drinks. Really friendly, hospitable and very helpful hosts that went beyond all our expectations with help and recommendations. The room was very clean with new and silent air-con and a comfortable large bed. Really delicious food too. Beautiful garden with seats and hammocks, wide veranda, very quiet location and a short, pleasent stroll to an amazing and safe beach. A breath of fresh air in comparison to Uppavelli. Highly recommended 11 out of 10.😊

Nothing - all was good

The couple who own this property were great and work very hard in this lovely family run home stay. The location is excellent as you are just a few minutes walk from the beach and the owner will call you a tuk tuk if you wish to go to other areas around Trincomalee. The food was really excellent (provided by the family), the rooms were clean and the AC was strong (not like in some other places we have stayed). In summary, if you are staying in nilaveli go to vibushan guest house :)
