All staff very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable and clean room, delicious food! Beach is an easy 700m walk. Supermarket is to left 50m. Thankyou to the lovely man (S..?) who looked after all our needs. He made a memorable first impression to us all on our first time visiting Sri Lanka.

I had a lot of problems with an unstable WiFi connection. There are a lot of WLANs but sometimes none of them work. Since I had to work, it was really tiring!

The Hotels and especially the staff was wonderful - It has the perfect location for a quick walk to the beach but you can also get into the city in 15 minutes by bus. You can also find many small, nice restaurants here and there is a food market right next door. I would come here again and again to vacation

I had a fantastic stay at Viveka Hotel Colombo! From the moment I checked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The hotel’s prime location on Galle Road made it easy to explore the city, and the convenience of nearby amenities added to the experience. The Deluxe Single Room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean, with all the essentials and more. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay in Colombo’s tropical climate. The room featured a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and thoughtful touches like a tea/coffee maker and an electric kettle. I appreciated the attention to detail, such as the air purifier and hand sanitizer provided in the room. The quiet, non-smoking room offered a restful atmosphere, and I especially loved the spacious seating area and the comfortable desk setup. Whether relaxing or catching up on work, it met all my needs. The safety deposit box, wardrobe, and additional conveniences like ironing facilities were also much appreciated. The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate my request to have rooms close together. Their proactive communication and effort to make my stay seamless did not go unnoticed. Even though the room didn’t include a meal plan, there were plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, Viveka Hotel Colombo exceeded my expectations. It’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and exceptional service at a great value. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Colombo. Highly recommended!

The refrigerator was removed from the room and was not present. Only 1 key was provided. The bidet shower's water is almost not running because of the scale build-up in the holes. The shower area door was jammed and was not easy to open/close.

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was nice. The room was clean on arrival. Check-in was easy. Good location in the main road.
