Basic but spotlessly clean accommodation. Incredible views. Outstanding food. The most lovely hosts in the whole of Sri Lanka. Great location, 10 minutes walk from restaurants and bars with fire flies lighting the way at night. Birds and wildlife all around you. A real family feel, thank you!

I recently stayed at this place and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient, with a friendly owner who is helpful and welcoming. The room itself was spacious enough for a comfortable stay. The bed was large and supportive, with clean, crisp linens plush pillows. Lighting in the room was well thought out, offering both bright overhead options. Temperature control was easy to use, and the air conditioning worked efficiently to keep the room comfortable. The bathroom was clean and stocked with basic toiletries such as shampoo and body wash. Water pressure in the shower was strong, and there was always plenty of hot water available. Fresh towels were provided daily, and they did a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout the stay. Soundproofing could have been slightly better, as occasional hallway noise was noticeable, but it did not significantly disrupt my stay. The view from the breakfast spot is amazing and the pancakes with coconut and hone sey were delectable. Food is a must try with the family. The younger son of the owner also creates a jamming session post dinner which is very lively and Anjula the owner lives to know about your country as well. They also gave us postcards to send back home. This is definitely unique Overall, I would recommend this place for leisure travelers. It offers good value for money, a comfortable stay, and courteous service. I would gladly stay here again.

Super friendly host, always ready to help and to take you to the best places. He took us to a lake nearby where you could swim and gave us a ride to an awesome massage place. We also had a very good dinner in the property and the breakfast is the best one we had so far. Everything with local ingredients and the breakfast view is the best!! You can see the lions rock perfectly!!! If you come to Sigiriya I 100% recommend this place :) PS: bring eye mask to sleep because the curtains are not blackout

The owner is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. He waited for my late check-in, prepared a delicious breakfast, and even hosted a small music night with his son, which was such a lovely and unique touch. The rooms are a bit small. For the one night in the second floor room, the hot water was being too hot, though we were told it would get fixed :)

The view of the Sigirya Rock was amazing, the hosts were very nice and responsive, and the room was clean, the airco worked well and the breakfast was delicious.

A wonderful place. Everything you need is in the room. The host and his whole family are lovely and helpful. Breakfasts with the view - the best we've eaten in Sri Lanka. I recommend ordering dinner as well (delicious - cooked by the host's wife). Great location - peace and quiet, but not far away from Sigiriya and the trail to Pindurangala

The room was rather cramped, because it was a 'family' room and had so had an additional single bed in it. We found the shower would only stay hot for a limited time.

This is a family run hotel, where we were given the warmest of welcomes and made to feel like special guests. Breakfast and dinner were beautifully cooked traditional Sri Lankan fare - dinner next to the family house and breakfast on the top of the three guest rooms where there is a lovely view over paddy fields to Sigiriya rock. On the first evening we were entertained by the family playing and singing - we were given instruments and encouraged to join in. A very special experience. The hotel owner was very proud of his house and garden and, on our last day, we were asked to help plant a tree. When we brought out some cards, a Carrom board was produced and the oldest son of the family was tasked with teaching us how to play.

This is small homestay accommodation with a wonderful host. Very hardworking people that will make your stay memorable. The home cooked meals were all very delicious with breakfast served on the rooftop overlooking the amazing Sigiriya Rock.

Nothing could have been better.

Everything just like on the pictures. Superb location, within a short walk to Sigiriya rock and town but far away from the crowds. Beautiful garden full of plants and animals. Superb food served by the hosts for great price with a wide choice of traditional food: every day the breakfast and dinner completely different. But the overall best highlight is the hosting family: we felt like home. We came with children and both them and us loved the hosts and if we had more time, I wish we could stay longer. When we return to Sri Lanka one day, it is the PLACE where we definitely want to stay again!!!

Everything about the place is wonderful. The hosts are so kind and really look after all their guests and spend time getting to know everyone. They have a wonderful little boy who played with our daughter, keeping her amused at all times. The breakfast and dinner was also amazing.

We were instantly welcomed to the accommodation the moment we got there. The owner was always communicating with us and even prepared a meal for us when we were arriving. Beautiful place with the best view of Sigiriya, warm and welcoming host and very good food. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to hike Sigiriya rock. My husband and I had a lovely one-night stay in Sigiriya at this property! We had both dinner and breakfast here and especially enjoyed the coconut honey pancakes in the morning with the view of the Sigiriya Lion Rock. We talked about those coconut honey pancakes our whole trip! We also appreciated that the property had secure, gated parking for our tuktuk rental. Not to mention, the hosts were kind and welcoming. We greatly recommend staying at Sigiriya Water Guest & View Point Restaurant when in Sigiriya. We wished we would have stayed another night!

The hosts were the kindest people! They prepared amazing and different breakfast everyday and made us feel home. Dinner was also exceptional!! The house feels like in the middle of the jungle, with 10ns of different types of birds, squirrels, butterflies… their kids were lovely and played with our 2 year old all the time. We’ll miss them!
