Absolute pearl of a homestay. Just two rooms with a beautiful view, calm surroundings to wake up in, and still just 10 minutes from Ella town by foot. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka, at a great price. We ate all our meals at home because we enjoyed it so much. Don't hesitate to book this spot!

It has a beautiful view on the mountains, waterfall, you can meet sunrise here. The hotel has beautiful terrace and you can see the perfect view and have meditation. Also I would like to mark the perfect-perfect host of the hotel, they were caring about our convenient living and also very early breakfast, very polite and responsive persons ❤️❤️❤️

The big room with a fantastic view porch, the amazing huge breakfast, the perfect location to walk to Ella rock, Adam peak, and town. Super quiet and in nature. We loved our sweet hosts and their family. This place has everything for a wonderful stay, and a great hot shower. Book this place soon. What a great stay at Welcome inn. We stayed here for two nights and it has been the best accommodation we have had on our trip to Sri Lanka. Very clean accommodation and a superb breakfast, hosted by two very special, kind people who had the best smile every morning and so helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Wonderful place! The family is so welcoming and warm. Nice room with an amazing terrace and view on the breathtaking landscape in Ella. The breakfast is also wonderful, the best we had in Sri Lanka. We loved our stay here!

Due to being a little shy, the couple that manage the property may not be very forthright with advice. But honestly, they were so incredibly helpful when asked, so do not be put off by that. Thankfully not right in town so not super noisy, but be aware that Sri Lanka is never quiet, so there is still a bit of traffic. Would be helpful to have more places to hang clothes etc in the room

The sweetest couple manage this property; absolutely fell in love with them. Great location in being easy to walk to the main town and top sights, but not in the really noisy area. Such a beautiful setting with incredible views. Perfect set up with two apartments only at this time with a shared terrace, so we could get to know our neighbours. The couple took so much pride in introducing us to different foods at breakfast time with something different every day, which was so delicous. Every time they saw us, they asked if we needed anything and wanted them to make us a hot drink despite having a kettle in our room. Went above and beyond to wash and dry our laundry despite the intermittent rain. Just incredible.

If you want to stay away from the centre filled with tourists n shops and bars, this isn’t the place for you. But we loved it as it was 10mins with tuktuk to the centre. Yet in peace.

The hospitality was amazing. Such kind and caring host. We had a great view of Ella from our balcony. Breakfast was a big spread. Waking up to the birds and waterfall sound.

Very pleasant hosts, tasty breakfast, and a waterfall you can see from the balcony. It is located a bit away from the center so you can sleep peacefully and wake up to a beautiful view, however, it is only a short walk/tuk tuk ride away from the main street.

Great family that hosts you with 2 rooms. They help you with arranging tours, tuktuk etc. You can walk to the centre of Ella, when its dark it is maybe better to take a tuktuk. The bed is good and the breakfast is excellent. And they were very flexible for breakfast time in the morning.

Excellent location and beautiful views (hills, waterfall, wildlife). Close to the center, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Great value for money and delicious breakfasts. Most importantly, the hotel is run by a wonderful family who always brought a smile to my face and were very helpful. I highly recommend staying at Welcome Inn.
