Very Good location. The lake view is an added bonus. Owner and the staff were very helpful. They even helped me book the Yala Safari. The Guide was very informative, we were able to see the leopard, Elephants, etc

A stunning hotel. The hotel booked the safari for us. They also provide good taxi service. Mr. Dilip, the hotel's owner, is a really pleasant man. Highly Recommended!

Nice property. Dulip the host did a good job in making us comfortable at the homestay. He is a starting entrepreneur managing the homestay on his own. He is the host, the manager, the chef, security, housekeeper...... Does all of it himself as a starting business and does a good job in ensuring his guests are comfortable. Included Dinner and breakfast were awesome and the portions were generous, sufficient for 3 meals rather than one. The room was spacious with lots of sitting space outside as well. The property has a pool and lake view.

The hotel area is green and well-groomed. But the rooms definitely need more attention and a facelift. This shortcoming was corrected by the friendliness of the staff, the location and the excellent early morning Yala safari.

You really need a car or a driver (or a tuk tuk) to get to and from this property.

We needed a fridge however that should not be expected in this type of budget accommodation. Staff obliged by sharing their fridge and then hurried after us by motorbike when we forgot to take out our medicines when we left. Note: not a criticism. Driver accommodation is not available here.

This accommodation is located beside the lake at the end of a quite long and narrow road so it is very quiet and peaceful. There are six double - triple rooms in two separate buildings, each with its outdoor covered dining and relaxation area with views of the lake. We enjoyed the clean pool and lovely garden and environment. Breakfasts were continental with omelettes, toast, fruit and fruit juice. We were able to also have some Sri Lankan breakfast food when it was served to local visitors. Dinner was included - great because you are far from any restaurants - and it was voted number two of the best of 23 dinners we had in the country. The rooms [ we had three] were clean, well equipped with furniture, and comfortable. The bathroom was as clean as any similar accommodation in Sri Lanka which is to say that the washbasin, shower and toilet were really clean however cleaning around the edges of bottom of walls etc could be improved. The staff were always approachable, helpful and focused on service, providing extra services such as washing clothes for us and keeping medicines in their fridge. Value for money for this level of accommodation. We enjoyed our stay.

Because of the location, we had some small animals like geckos, little frogs, and bugs in the room. There's no real way to keep them out. There are quite a few mosquitoes, but the host provides burning coils to help with them (it didn't help too much) If there are other guests, the pool can get a bit crowded, and there are only two sun loungers. The food is cheap but you get what you paid for.

The location is right by Yoda Lake, so the view is absolutely stunning. The yard is really nice with lots of swings and tables to chill at. The green grass against the blue lake is just beautiful. The pool is super clean and perfect for a dip after a safari.

Little things to be changed like taps , anyway there were renovations and refurbishment going on without disturbing the guests.

A very kind host and friendly staff. Beautiful location with the view and the breeze from the lake. Clean pool. Great relaxation. Not the most modern type of lodging , a nice environment, eco friendly, full of greenery. Food was delicious. Definitely we will return!!!!!

The hotel rooms were exceptionally comfortable, providing us with a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The garden was beautifully maintained, with a lush lawn that's perfect for relaxing. There's also plenty of space for children to play, making it a great family-friendly spot
