Amazing little gem just 5 minutes outside of the Main Street of Ella in a tuk tuk. Very attentive staff who helped arrange trips and made sure we had what we needed. They had their own tuk tuk and could bring us to town and on trips for fair prices. We paid 500 rs for a ride to town. Breakfast was very nice. Weather in Ella is colder same as in Kandy, meaning it’s nice but the pool is also chilly. Our room was nice and well decorated. Good beds!

A group of us stayed here and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is the perfect size and with the stunning view we saw deer and lots of other wildlife while having a morning swim. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect

Wild Resort was the best hotel we booked on our Route around the Island. The Room was very clean and comfortable. But the best at the location was the two guys we spent our time with. The Cooker Kurama and his colleague were really polite and helpful. We spent every evening with them and got the best food on our journey. We spoke a lot about the habits and had the chance to learn a lot about Sri Lanka. Ella is a town you should definitely stay minimum 3 nights, better would be 4-5 night. There is so much to discover and the hotel with that little pool in the little of nature (there is a big rice field in front) is beautiful. There is not that much tourism. What I also want to recommend is the cooking class we did with Kumara. We learned a lot about the Sri Lanka cooking habits and had a great time. definitely we would book that place again!!!

A great little resort to stay at! The staff were so accommodating and lovely, especially with helping us when our rented tuk tuk was experiencing some difficulty. The food was also great! We happened to get unlucky with lots of rain so we only had a quick dip in the pool, but can imagine on a nice sunny hot day that the pool is perfect! Rooms had everything you needed and were comfortable. You can also spot some cute friendly animals whilst staying here :)

The hotel is off a main road and our taxi driver was worried driving down at night but I think when he saw it the next day he was much happier!!!

One of the best hotels we stayed in!!!! So relaxing and beautiful environment. The staff went above and beyond and were just amazing!!!! They really make your stay so special and welcoming. Rooms were clean and food was very nice. The amount of nature we saw was amazing!!! Love it so much! Would highly recommend and would return!

Our family just stayed one night at Wild Resort Ella and we had a really good stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, the views are beautiful and the pool is perfect. The breakfast was plenty and delicious and the personnel was really attentive. We totally recommend Wild Resort Ella for a quiet getaway in Ella!

Fantastic location, the views are stunning! The guys there were so lovely, very helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. They also made a delicious breakfast! We were sad to leave here and would happily have stayed longer.

We had a lovely stay in Wild Resort Ella. The staff was super friendly and the room was nice and clean! The location was perfect for us - surrounded by nature and just a short tuktuk ride away from Ella city center! We also had dinner at the resort one evening and it was delicious! Breakfast was great too!

We loved our stay in the Ella countryside with great views of farmland and animals and birds to watch. The staff were very kind and helpful and we highly recommend the cooking class. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Beautiful place in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. Amazing breakfast and the sweetest staff who went above and beyond to make us happy. The resort is a bit outside of town but just a short TUK TUK ride away, so this wasn’t a problem for us. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was also great to have a fridge inside our room.

The whole were very welcoming and helpful to any requests. Wild resort had its own tuk tuks that could bring you into central Ella. We extended the Little Adam’s peak walk to include the 9 Arches bridge and walk along railway tracks back to Ella station. We had a cooking lesson making pourris and other bits which was informative and fun- will try at home! The balcony has a great view of the monastery at the top of the hill.

The property is a bit small and so are the rooms and the pool. But that doesn’t take away from everything else which is amazing.

The property is beautiful! It has the most relaxing view of the forest. Set within a quiet and serene surrounding- wild resort is a great place to switch off and relax. 5-7 min drive from the main city area- it is lovely to come back to. The staff is very warm, welcoming and friendly. We had a very good time and will definitely go back .

Where to start! This property was amazing, the first and most notable was the staff there, who were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They really went above and beyond and even helped us with our Tuktuk problems! The place was beautiful, the view was amazing and the pool was a little paradise! Rooms were all clean and well kept. Would recommend this to anyone travelling. 2 mins drive to Ella and the staff offer lifts too. They cooked for us on the first night and always made sure we had a drink and were always smiling. Thank you all!

As with other reviews the water pressure isn’t a downpour but definitely good enough to wash soap out of long hair and always hot. The bungalow was a generous size but can be slightly tight with big bags. Would recommend to add a shelf above the sink in the bathroom but not a necessity just would be an added bonus

Wow what an amazing place to stay so close to Ella. Made up of only 4 rooms (2 bungalows and 2 family rooms) you really get such a personal touch to service. We stayed in the bungalow in front of the pool and loved sitting out on the patio watching the birds go by. Kumari the amazing chef / front of house was always on hand for any help as well as the fantastic owner who was quick to take us into Ella during bad weather. The definite high was the cooking class which was really thoughtfully planned. Can’t recommend enough

Wonderfull place to stay in Ella. Clean,quiet, in the nature with spectacular view of rhe monastery,yet few minutes from the citty center by tuktuk. Stuff of the hotel was exceptionally friendly as well as profesional. Breakfast was amazing.
