Some people might find the walk up the hill difficult but tuk tuks are cheap so isn’t a problem. It’s about 300 m and takes 6 mins.

Amazing views! Lots of spaces to hang out and enjoy the view, including a nice pool and seating and a hammock outside our bedroom. Great service with helpful staff. The food was good and excellent buffet breakfast included. Quick laundry service. Massage services available onsite or just down the road. Short walk into town. Not far from little Adam’s peak. Staff suggested we take the short cut to nine arch bridge then walk along the tracks back to the hotel. Loved it!!

All was good for us. Some may find the steep road to the property a challenge but a Tuk Tuk would be no problem if anyone was concerned about this. It was not a problem for us and worth it for the amazing views !!!

The views from the hotel across to Ella rock are stunning. You wake up to birdsong and it feels like you are so close to the lush mountain greenery. We managed to get the apartment for our second night which was spacious and we loved the balcony with the hammocks. The breakfast was amazing and the pool when we used it was lovely and we had it to ourselves. We felt a sense of privacy. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful . We loved the location so close to shops and restaurants albeit with the steep climb . Would definitely recommend and would love to come back one day !

Amazing view, delicious food, very comfortable rooms! Very good yoga session. Incredibly helpful personel. Location is perfect, in the middle of the city, although road to the hotel is steep and tiring. Many stairs to the rooms, pool and restaurant.

Walls are very thin. We could hear the next door baby crying in the middle of the night loud and clear. Ear plugs are a must.

Ella is buzzing but Zion view is very peaceful despite only being a short (hilly) walk away. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Lots of nice little touches (drying rail outside the room, water in the lobby, pool towels etc.) too many to remember! Nice bar area, food was good and plenty of breakfast choices. Pool has a great view, as do the rooms. It rained a bit whilst we were there but we really enjoyed sitting in our veranda, and in the hammock, watching with a pot of tea.

Great views, great room with own private terrace, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Breakfast was buffet which was very liked by the children who could choose whatever they liked and get the food right away (after waiting and waiting for hours in Sri Lankan restaurants, this was really a big deal for us) Nice with a pool after hot days of hiking.

The setting/view is sublime. The staff are lovely - friendly, caring and helpful. Food is great. Excellent free yoga classes. I also had a massage every day - inexpensive and very skilled. Lovely atmosphere - fabulously relaxed and easy. We didn't want to leave!!

Family room is basic and a bit too small for 4. There is no where to store clothes or put cases. WiFi was problematic throughout - eventually they gave us the office router for one night which worked.

Location is wonderful. Up the steep hill from the centre with fantastic views. Nice food, pool, massage - all great. Staff were very helpful. Balcony with hammock - amazing. Arranged a cake and balloons for my son’s birthday.

I I was traveling alone and in the middle of my stay, I was very sick, the hotel manager and the stuff took me to the hospital and took care of me like I’m their daughter. I have no words to describe my appreciation to the hotel stuff Definitely will come back Thank you🙏🙏🙏
