The staff at Ella were very attentive to mine and my husband needs. Breakfast and dinner was always freshly prepared and delicious. The Massage was the best we have experienced and very good value for money. I wish I had taken all their names, so I could mention them in this feedback...every single one of the staff made us feel special. On our last day, my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to the owner of Ella. Lovely gentleman. We look forward to returning next year. Thank you for the wonderful experience. little bit overpriced for the standard of the room, no A/C just a fan. steep walk up the hill but that pays for the view!!

Absolutely amazing view, nice to chill in the hammock and look out. Breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us a free shuttle to the train station and takeaway breakfast as were leaving early. Pool is nice.

From start to finish I cannot rate this hotel highly enough . My friend recommended this hotel to me and I am so glad I took her advice The team- I would give five stars (Pradeep in particular ) exceptional service ,always greeting me with a smile and organising a TUC TUC. Location was perfect in terms of access to main street Ella , it has a steep hill which didn't bother me personally. The views are out of this world and even when it rains it offers a cosy atmosphere . I was lucky enough to celebrate new years with the team and it was a really special day .thank you all , I will be back in the future

Prices for laundry are a little steep, but it was done well and promptly.

This was one of our favourite hotels in Sri Lanka. The location is a short (albeit steep uphill/downhill) walk to the centre of Ella, and only 20 minutes walk to Little Adams Peak and the 9 Arch Bridge. The rooms aren't huge, and lack a fridge/TV, but they are clean and comfortable, and the incredible views and balcony are a treat. My boys loved the hammock and swing chair, although I didn't love the endless creakiness of them so much! The staff are super attentive, will go out of their way to help, and the food was some of the best we've had here. The breakfast buffet is especially plentiful and varied. The pool is great, although be prepared for it to be extra chilly as it is naturally fed! There is also a small children's play area too. Overall, we have and do recommend this hotel when staying in Ella.

One of the rooms had a bad smell so they had to be moved to another room for the first night which was a bit of a hassle.

The view was spectacular, the food was great, hammocks were an extra plus. Staff were really helpful and attentive. The apartment was amazing - great for big groups with a large open plan area for relaxing.

The wifi was terrible and there was children everywhere, often screaming through the restaurant or pool. Shame as the place is beautiful

That we had to leave

I loved how the rooms were a good size with a big balancing and a hammock. The breakfast and food were great. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at Zion and would recommend to anyone. There is quite a big hill to get to the hotel from Ella town, but tuktuks are quite cheap and can help you get there if needed.
