Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

You can't complain about the price and quality you get. Always very friendly staff and rooms are clean and large. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Previous comments about the bathrooms were noted. But it was not our shower day! A spacious bathroom, poor design on the sinks.
Great room with seating area,. Separate work area and closets. Lovely view! Easy access to bus to Luxembourg. Great restaurant nearby and wonderful reception staff!

The water in the shower is very harsh leading to the showerhead being covered with limescale. However the water tastes great and is drinkeable from the tap.
The room was nice, the covered parking area is great as well. The people at the front desk are very kind. And it was a nice plus that the minibar was included.

Had a problem with a jammed balcony door and hotel were extremely helpful in finding another room (upgrade to a suite) showing us three to choose from. Generally hotel needs a little bit of refreshment in some places but honestly not an issue - maybe end of season tidy up?
Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with balcony. Location good for overnight stop and secure, free underground parking beneath hotel with direct lift. Breakfast good selection and constantly refreshed. (Scrambled eggs best we had this side of the UK!) Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Free mini bar with range of waters and fizzy drinks really appreciated. Recommendation for restaurant (few minutes from hotel) was fantastic. (Italian bistro)

Great location to park car and get local (free) transport by bus to city centre. Nice selection at breakfast. Only one member of staff at breakfast and covering reception. Was nice to sit on balcony.

for a 4* hotel, I found the room I had was small, the A/C made a noise in the night, I had to turn it off. I had to go and ask for coffee and milk, as these were not replaced when I used them up. The continental breakfast was OK, It would have been nice to have a little more option on the warm food, instead of liquid egg (like rubber) and streaky bacon 4* hotels could do better......
location from the city was good, not to close, the staff were very friendly and very informative about the locality. bus stop was out side the hotel, which is free to travel on in Luxemburg, 10 minute ride to the centre. taking a car into the centre is a night mare.

There was nothing that we actively disliked. Our room (208) would have benefited slightly at night by being able to lower a blind over the window in the foyer area where the coffee machine was kept. Also, we would have liked a kettle for my wife to make tea. The coffee machine could provide hot water, but it tended to be coffee flavoured. Also, the coffee, milk and other items were not automatically replenished, neither were the free soft drinks in the fridge.
Breakfast had more ingredients that we like such as fresh fruit, yoghurt and muesli / granola (compared to our last visit in 2023 when many of these items were not present). Everything else was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable.

The road next to our room was very noisy. The mattresses were very soft, that’s personal of course, but the bedding was comfortable. The airconditioning was oké, but with a irritating sound.
The spacious room with the nice bathroom, the refrigerator with drinks and the Nespresso. We liked the breakfast and there are good restaurants in the neighbourhood

Nothing we didn’t like
The staff were helpful with transport details. The bus stop was close, the room was comfortable and complimentary drinks in the minibar a bonus. We even got English TV channels! Breakfast was delicious.

Roman blinds need repaired …..and sometimes the air conditioning wasn’t functioning very well. Shower seal on the floor - needs replaced, bathroom floods due to this.
Close to where our son and family live in Luxembourg. Excellent buffet breakfast - always replenished immediately. Great attentive service.

The room needs renovation, the shower was not super clean. The aircon needed renewal and the window curtain did not open.
The bed was really spacious and extremely comfortable, the room and shower were big. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
