Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe lighting in the Bathroom was all very nice, but for someone who shaves not very functional as the light was behind my head, luckily I know my face! The area around the station was populated by characters who were obviously using substances. However they did not bother or approach us, but it made the area feel seedy. This is not the Hotel's fault and we felt safe in the Hotel.
Breakfast was sufficient, although they had forgotten to boil the eggs, however staff were helpful to providing icy water for travelling. The location is across the road from the train station, which suited us as we were travelling back to Eurostar and this suited our purposes.

United KingdomMy only minor criticism is that the wifi on my floor (3rd) kept cutting out. But other than that everything was great.
The hotel is ideally situated near the main train station and ideal for travel in and outside of the city. The facilities and interiors are very clean and comfortable. The desk service was good and the breakfast also satisfactory. I would stay here again.

United KingdomNot personally keen on the decor, which I found rather off-putting for a solo female traveller. The shower door opens outwards at floor level which means you can't put the bath mat down - it would be better hinged the other way so it opens flat against the wall.
Location is very handy for the station, shops and restaurants. It was noisy from building works and street life but the bed was comfortable and I slept well.

Belgium- The really poor wi-fi connection on the fourth floor - Sunday was quiet but there were noisy works under my windows and next to the hotel on Monday morning.
- The shower clean, modern and functional - The kettle with coffee and tea in the room - The hotel is situated almost in front of the Central railway station and the bus station (buses and trams are free in Luxembourg).

United StatesTerribly loud. No option for early check in. The location was very much central but did not feel safe at all. We worried about our car being vandalized. The street also had only paid and quite expensive parking. We were driving thru and only there for one day so it was just for one night thankfully.
Breakfast was good. The place was modern but room quite small

Denmarkthe Area felt like very unsafe. a lot of homeless people and drug users is just outside the hotel. when we was there there was 15 police officers in the bar a couple of meters away from the entry to the hotel. I wouldn’t stay in this area with kids.

Perfect location served by train, tram, bus, basically the major transport hub of Luxembourg itself. Room was comfortable and clean, nearby Portuguese restaurant directly connected to hotel provide good meals.

SpainWiFi connection slow. No table nor desk in the room (uncomfortable for working). Some noise due to construction works near the hotel.
I had an average good experience. The rooms were fairly small, but practical and handy. The breakfast selection was decent and provided a good start for the day. The hotel's location is very close to the main station and most of public transportation. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs.

SwitzerlandThere was this glass panel between the shower and bedroom. It is not exactly transparent since there's a sticker of sorts on it. However, it made me uncomfortable as I was there with a friend and I believe you can look at the person showering from the bedroom...
Good value-for-money. Enjoyed my stay. It was much bigger than expected for the price. Location was fantastic. Checkout at 12pm is pretty good too.

United KingdomYes asked for a quiet room but was advised that there was some building work next door prior to arrival. In the end the noise was minimal and did not disturb my stay. Staff were super friendly and i had a great stay meeting some of the locals. I will make Hotel Grey my first choice in any future visit to Luxembourg City.

United KingdomSome building work nearby caused noise around 0730, but I was warned about this in advance.
A lovely well-appointed room, with very comfy bed and superb shower. The hotel is just over the road from the station. Trams (free of charge) run to the city centre every few minutes.
