Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Location was good, right in front of the train station, close to tram and bus stations.

United KingdomI can't think of anything.
As a railway photographer I had the best location for a room I could have. The hotel is right at the main transport (and public transport is FREE in Luxemburg) hub in the country. In spite of this my room was very quiet. I was warned about building works next door, but I noticed nothing of that. Free bus (No 29) from and to the airport outside the railway station. Free tram into the city centre. Lots of bars and cafés and supermarkets in the street outside and bakers in the station building. You'll survive there!

United StatesConstruction hid the hotel’s sign making it difficult to locate when driving. We were lucky and scored a parking spot across the street from the hotel’s entrance. If you’re driving be aware parking could easily be an issue.
The room was beautiful. It was very well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was a nice touch. The location was an easy walk to the city center. There were lots of neighborhood bars nearby where one could bend an elbow with the locals. Breakfast was pedestrian.

AustraliaWhere to start! The biggest disappointment was the breakfast buffet! We paid €12 each... grossly overcharged! The bread was more than 1 day old... no cold meat cuts or cheese even! no teaspoons available, my husband couldn't even drink his hot chocolate 😔 Our room was very small with inadequate lighting. There were coffee making facilities, but no coffee at all... just 1 black teabag (I could understand if it was overlooked on the first night, but the second night was the same... nothing replenished at all! The cleaning wasn't up to standard. The beds were made, but the chrome fittings in the bathroom were all still very grotty upon returning after room maintenance. Sorry to say we won't be staying here again!
It's location was very practical for us... just opposite the main train station. The shower was good... nice big "rain shower" head!

Hong Kong- The street of the hotel is full of unpleasant peoole as there are some night clubs. - The air conditioner is a disaster as it is so loud that we couldn't sleep at night. - The quality of the breakfast is really unacceptable. - It can't be regarded as a 4 star hotel. - It is too costly for such accommodation and food. - It is the worst hotel in my Europe trip for 20 days and it definitely makes us disappointed about Luxembourg.
- Very convenient as it is just opposite the Central station and T1 Tram station

United KingdomFantastic hotel. The hotel very stylish and had obviously been recently renovated. The rooms were spotless and very well equipped. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was superb - just opposite the central train station. The airport bus stop was a 2-minute walk from the hotel. There was also a tram stop just beside the hotel with trams departing every 5 - 6 minutes for the centre of the city. The Hamilius stop (for the city centre) was just 3 tram stops away from the hotel, so it was extremely easy to travel back and forth. Public transport is free in Luxembourg, which was an added bonus. All in all, I was delighted with the hotel and it greatly exceeded expectations.
