Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was having very limited options. 17 euros for bread, boiled egg and milk is costly. Car parking is way too costly to park car under sun.
Room was very good and clean. Location of the hotel was awesome.

50 EUR bron from credit card was confusing when I arrived to hotel. Room was already paid. Paid for breakfast. Paid for parking. And extra for 50 EUR to be booked on my credit card during my stay. For what?

Breakfast offering was below average. We decided to look elsewhere. Room was boiling hot with no Aircon. When the window was open it was quite loud as we were over the reception area. Pillows looked so nice then when you lay on them are basically flat. Literally could ball it into my fist. Would need about 4 to make even a thin pillow.
Room was clean staff were helpful.

No other restaurants in close vicinity, except the one in the hotel. So one has to walk for 10 minutes to find other options for food.
Quiet location out of the main center. Walking distance to tram and main city center and main attractions. Big room size, very comfortable bed and lots of space. Tea/coffee machine was also good to enjoy in the room.

The balcony in the room we got cannot be used as it is blocked by trees 90%. Blocked as in less than 20cm away and you cannot see anything but, otherwise a very nice wall of evergreen branches 😊. Maybe not a big deal, but at the reception I was assured that it was the best room, all other rooms were worst as they were exposed to the street noise, whereas our room was protected from the noise, by the trees 😁. I guess, at 200 Euro per night I felt I wanted the streets to make some noise.
Room was very clean and looked new. Location is great, walking distance from turist center and main attractions.

The exterior is tired looking. The restaurant and bar appeared run down, although to be fair, I did not eat or drink there...mostly because of the external appearance.
Clean interior and rooms. Comfy bed. Staff friendly. Awesome location and rate for a super short stay.

The coffee and tea in the room was not replaced each day, despite a request to do so at reception. Breakfast is massively over priced. Cereal, cold meat and cheese, yoghurt and bread for 17 Euros!! They couldn't guarantee a twin room when booking - most odd in these days of fully computerised booking systems. We did get a twin room fortunately.
Good location - 10 minute walk to the town. We were travelling on 5 motorcycles - The garage parking was full, so parked outside reception. This was not a problem. We negotiated the cost of parking the motorcycles to 25Euro per night for all 5 bikes. When it came to paying the bill, they attempted to charge us 25Euro per bike per night! The agreed price was accepted reluctantly. I would recommend getting a note about the agreed price put on the account.
