Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the bathroom was very old fashioned and beds for the children weren´t so comfortable. Bathrooms should be absolutely renovated.

Everything but the suites are not worth booking for this price. I had to upgrade to a suite to get a nice experience. All the other rooms are very worn.

Coffee machines were a bottleneck at the breafast. Room quite worn out (holes in the carpet and looks old), fridge not working.
Decent breakfast. No fuzz check-in, friendly staff. The room (family suite) was huge. Not too long walk to city center.

AC didn't work so well, it was too hot in the room. It was possible to open the window though. The door is not soundproof, could hear everything that's happening in the corridor.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Nice view. Everything was clean. Bed was super comfy and huge.

Room facilities, room appearance. Everything very old.
Room was clean but all facilities very old. It really needs renovation and improvements. Breakfast were nice. It was really good to have this decaf coffee during breakfast.

NOTHING PARTICULAR
ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND WITH A BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF RIVER DOUGAVA AND THE OLD RIGA CITY. STAFF WAS PROMPT AND CORTEOUS, ESPECIALLY THE RECEPTION STAFF. THE BREAKFAST SPREAD WAS NICE AND GENEROUS.

There was the strangest poster picture above the bed of 5 blonde girls carrying pistols and flags. Very off putting and weird!
We had an excellent view of the tiver and OldTown of Riga. The breakfasts were very good. The bedroom was very comfortable

guest leaving the hot food lids up, so the food was only lukewarm. maybe a note asking to close it when they have taken their scrambled egg etc, but plenty of variety so even the fusiest of eaters should find something to their taste
the bed was very comfortable, the room was a nice temperature. only problem was people letting doors slam, maybe stoppers to prevent this from happening would be brilliant.

The conditioning system is a big problem I would say. The air conditioner worked so loudly, that it was impossible to sleep well. The shower system is awkward, we haven't seen simething like this anywhere. The hotel is old and obviously needs renovation. Breakfast could be better.
The location of the hotel is very good, because the city center and the old town can be reached on foot. Staff at the hotel is friendly, speaks English and Russian. The room was big enough.

The location and the view from the window to the river is 10. Also thanks to the guy from the reception who found us the best room, huge size Junior suite, super clean, modern, renovated and we had a stunning view from over window to the river and downtown.

Hotel is very old and strongly require for renovation. Especially bathroom, especially faucet in the shower. It misses some buttons and require a lot of force to open the water. It looks inside and outside like some random 2 star hotel. 4 star should be taken away, they can be honest with the guests. Breakfast was good for 2 star hotel and for the price, but not more.
Location is quite convenient, just about 15-20 minutes to the city center by foot. River and the old town view is nice. It is quite cheap, but not expect real Radisson.

I have no complaints or comments. The value for money was astonishingly good. Well, except for the fact that you have to pay for parking, and for every visit to the swimming pool and the gym, it was a bit confusing. A small fee, but we expected it included in the room price.
The hotel is old, but cozy and once very luxurious. We were surprised by the deluxe apartment for our family with amazing views of Riga's Old Town across the river. Also the terrace... - old, but great for just taking a breather, looking at the sunset of Riga. Once upon a time, Angela Merkel or George Bush may have lived in such apartments, whose photos - former visitors - hang in the hotel's central hall. Breakfast was very varied and of high quality.
