Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Convenient location a short walk from Jemaa el Fna Square. Nice clean rooms and accompanying facilities. Terrace up top is a nice place to chill out with a cup tea and relax in the laid-back ambience. The guys are very helpful and friendly and eager to make sure your stay is as good as possible. Information about tours is readily available and can be booked there also. Overall highly recommended and would return in a heartbeat.

The only negative thing was my bed. Matresses are not very comfortable, maybe it was only my bed but I could feel what is inside of the bed. Except this, everything was perfect.
Staff is amazing, they are very friendly and helpful. I wish I can give more than 10 for staff. Hostel is very clean. Location is in the medina and you can find it easily. And I love the decoration of the terrace. We booked a dormitory room but the other 2 beds were free so it was like a private room for us :)

Great value for money. It's my second time here. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Upstairs common area is beautiful and comfy. Would def stay again. :)

Staff here were so friendly and nice. They gave me tea and even bteakfast when i got in super early from my flight. The airport transfer was seamless and someone met me at the shuttle to take me the last little bit theough the medina. The location was is great, its only 5mins from the main square.

The optional breakfest and excursions offer could be a little cheaper but considering the price of the stay and overall quality that's not a problem
Very good place to stay for this price; you can feel moroccan atmosphere in there, escpecially the tarrace on the roof is very nice.

Perhaps a few more showers needed. Bed could be a touch more comfy.
The staff (who really felt like friends by the end) are exceptionally warm and welcoming. Always happy to provide advice and tips to improve your stay. It's off a little street in the medina so not at all noisy. Great terrace.

I have stayed in hostels in 16 different countries but this was the best hospitality I have ever seen in a hostel. The location of the hostel is easily accessible even though google maps does not work properly in Marrakech. The cheap pricing policy of the hostel may raise a question mark in the minds of some tourists, but everyone staying in the hostel is completely tourist and has a very safe environment.

recommendations by the host are little odd, we asked for a restaurant for people from Marrakesh and he recommends us 3 most common by tourists, beside this, everything was perfect

- no towels included - no fans/aircon didn't work very well (- make sure to get some proper information about the trip to the desert. I enjoyed my experience but there are better offers for similar prices with nicer camps.)

Be Nomad is the best place of Marrakech. I felt so at home from the very first second I came. The guys working there are the nicest people I have ever met! They will help you with everything you need. I spent a few days and they became a family to me. Be Nomad will make you fall in love with Morocco. PS: I even changed my trip just to spend more time with them. If I am back in Morocco I will always stay in Be Nomad.

This hostel was perfect, the staff is very nice and friendly, cleanness is excellent, and it is very near to everything. It is in a calm neighborhood, yet close to everything. My second time in Marrakech, and i choose this place.

Can't really think of anything criticism, the only criticism is the local kids making noise outside on the street however thats just kids being kids i guess aha
All the staff were absolutely brilliant! Very helpful, fun and easy to talk to! The lounges were great to relax and socialise. The location was great as well, the neighbours and kids were pretty chilled and friendly. It is only like 5min walk to the main square. I definitely won't forget my stay there ! 💯 I also loved the room and bathroom decor, I couldn't stop taking photos ahaha Sonny
