Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong Kongnone, they give you a lot more than the price. you will enjoy staying here, believe me.
The host is very nice, he always care about what you need. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and comfortable for chilling and talking with other guests in the hostel. The room is big and comfortable, and you can make new friends in the room. The shower is good. The location is the thing that I like most. The hostel is in the centre of Medina of Marrakesh. You can access to anywhere and explore the small streets without any destination. You will find many restaurants with just Arab words and do not have any information on the google map, and those are the restaurants that locals have their meal with very very cheap price and authentic taste. I am really enjoy doing this. Get lost in the Medina of Marrakesh is the must do thing in Marrakesh! You will find many exciting experience along the way.

United KingdomThe towels were a bit dirty, one of the hand towels had a pink stain on it, and one of the bath towels had a bunch of hair on it (maybe from the previous tourists who stayed there). We booked one of the private rooms with an ensuite, and this was near the reception area, so it gets a bit loud every time someone comes in/out or to check-in. But it was quiet at night.
The staff were very helpful and it was walking distance from the main square, which is what we wanted. It was also quiet at night. We were served tea and biscuits on arrival, and I thought it was really sweet. There's a terrace area for you to sit and work if you are a digital nomad. They also have lockers if you want to store your bags incase you arrived early or leave later.

NetherlandsWe were very disappointed with the tour we booked through the hostel. The first day, in particular, we didn't get what we were promised. The van provided was super cold, and the AC was not functioning properly, which caused the windows to fog up, which made it difficult to enjoy the views. Also, no English speaking guide! We booked the "Comfort" level tour, but the first accommodation of the tour was even worse than basic: there was no heating (it was freezing cold ouotside and inside), the food was insufficient, and the beds were dirty. The overall experience was not what we expected.
Hostel itself is clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly.

IrelandBreakfast was exclusively carb/bread heavy. Coffee/Fruit/yoghurt/egg would have been a nice addition.
Great location. Staff very obliging. Rooms in traditional Morrocan style (a little dark overall). We stayed at New Year which was probably high season so felt that price was too high for the level of Riad. However would have no hesitancy to recommend if price was right.

IrelandUnfortunately, the airconditioning machine was not enough to make the room cooler. The outside noise can be heard even during late hours.
The interior and exterior design of the room is truly moroccan inspired which makes your stay better and authentic. The staff were extremely nice and has a lot of good recommendations. Thanks to Chefek and Mouad!

MalaysiaWe paid 7 euro extra to have a room with an AC when in booking.com it was only 1euro extra. As we had been in the hostel 2 nights before, we knew that the AC in the room they wanted to give us was not working, so we were promised that in another room the AC as working. Well, not really. That AC was spitting hot air mainly, we couldnt sleep and ended the night sweating and having cold showers. Overall, dont stay here in the summer. They have fans which work better but they didnt offer them to us. Kids are shouting outisde until 3am. They workers dont mind as they go to sleep very late in the summer

MalaysiaIn the summer its impossible to sleep. You can pay for the AC rooms, but the AC doesnt really work. You will be sweating all night. They want you to have breakfast there to make a bit of money, but then they make it for you whenever they want, just because they want to sleep more themselves. Breakfast not worth it. They are only interested in making money really
Hostel is nicely decorated for the price

SpainThe room was claustrophobically small and dark, and the common areas looked much better in the photos, but in reality, were not that comfy and beautiful. All the rooms had windows to the staircase, which meant there were disturbing noises and lights on throughout the night (with guests arriving, leaving, etc.) which made it hard to have a restful sleep. The bathroom had a weird smell, and the floor was often flooded.
The staff was lovely and helpful. They care about assisting their guests. The location was quite nice.
