First contact was bad and we couldn’t find the hotel which was annoying. We wanted to book yoga and surf in advance but communication didn’t work for some reason. In the end all sorted out but not a pleasant start. For next customers “, in the picture you see the entrance so go here!

I had to share the bathroom with the owner and his friends.

The owner and his friends were really friendly. The beach nearby is beautiful. The friend of the owner was an amazing guy he helped me with everything.

If you are traveling without rent car you'll be a little restricted but you can always walk down the small village.

The warm welcome made us feel at home with a tour around the Villa. The room was perfectly clean and ready for our arrival. They managed to arrange us a shutle last minute from the APT to the Villa. Failing wifi in our room but they managed to find an wifi extension for us. During our stay we needed to use taxi to go to a weding venue, and when there were no taxis available they took us.

During our stay the pool was not usable and needed cleaning which should have been done ahead of guests arriving especially considering that the price paid was higher compared to other surf houses in the area. Alternatively a discount could have been offered. Also the fridge was broken during our stay and beeping all night, which was a bit annoying.

Nice location close to the beach where you can enjoy wonderful sunsets. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The property is very nicely decorated and cozy. Good breakfast served!

Thanks to all the staff for the friendliness and warm welcome. The food at Chernaki was absolutely delicious - honestly some of *if not the* best we had for our whole stay in Morocco! Fab to have yoga there and to be guided to surf spots :)

Breakfast was disappointing, and the place seems like it needs some maintenance: a lot of things seemed broken, for example: the door of the bathroom didn't close, the shower was leaking etc.

Location is good, close to the beach and to Taghazout. The place looks nice.

I would not recommend it for solo female travellers. The main host made made some undesirable propositions (and insisted).

there was nobody to assist us, to ask questions or provide any information to us. we were left alone, like an air bnb. we were not shown how to unlock the property and as such the lock is tricky and we were left locked out, despite calling the owner, nobody helped us and we were left outsitde until a neighbour nearby (who clearly knew this was an issue and had experience of it before was able to help us). no communication from the owner / person who runs the hostel to help. there were no towels or anything nice provided, there were many items placed in the room and bathroom to cover up things that were broken.

We were greeted by someone at the hostel who had no knowledge of us staying there. He was helpful and showed us to our room and gave us a key to the house as he was going out. the room was average size but decent for a hostel. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. it appeared to be quiet and they had a big kitchen and good facilities and a chill out area with wifi and a tv aswell as a pool.

Host makes very good impression and until last day we would not say bad word about him. Unfortunately at the last day he ruined overall impression about him. He tricked me to go to withdraw money with his friend, so he stayed alone with my girlfriend. He made some impropriety proposal to her, which put her in rather uncomfortable position.

Breakfast was very good as well as how host managed our free time with some pre prepared interesting ideas. Surf course was very well organized. In prize 45euro per person we had the transport, wet suits, surf board and lunch on the beach. Also he organized in the evening some board games, sand dune surfing with dinner on the spot and other. The dinners also very good and Moroccan style so if you want to try something local and also in good price this is good option to take. He was also helpful to find taxi for the airport. The stuff working for the host are super nice!

I had a problem with the owner behaviour towards me as a woman, and I didn’t feel safe to stay in there. I had to leave this property earlier, day before my booking ended. I wouldn’t recommend this place for woman traveling alone. However, the house was lovely and the breakfast was delicious on every day. Also I adored the interior design in the house. And rooftop is amazing. On the other hand, it’s noisy there. The sound coming from fridge downstairs was very bad and didn’t allow me to sleep.

This property has not been verified at all. The website said that is a hostel, beachfront, and a restaurant. In reality, it is pretty far from the beach, it is more of a shared house and the restaurant is the house’s kitchen, with volunteers as chefs. The description is overall misleading. In reality, we are sharing a house with three lovely hosts but this is not what we were looking for. The house is in a bad state, the kitchen is super faulty, and our bathroom as well. There are many ants. The house is safe but the area the house is in does not feel safe at all. It is all very remote. The host expected us to act as her employees, depending on us to be at the property in the middle of the day to let new guests in. The location was also misleading, booking.com labelled it as in Taghazout, it is in reality 20 minutes drive away in Tamri. It is overpriced for the overall place and service.

Weeeee love everything !!!

I was treated like family not like a normal guest and I really value the help that Hannes (the owner) gave us, he helped in all the requests we asked without hesitation !!! The breakfast was great and the lady who makes it was very nice, the beach is right in front like a 2 minutes walk !!! People with a good heart who will make us come back for sure, we are fans of everything ❤️

You need transport to come to the other places and to Taghazout Center, but there is a beautiful, peaceful beach in front of the house ( 5 min walk) and Anes always takes care for transport!

I had a really wonderful time at Chernaki Surf! Anes helped me with everything and was always there if I needed something, Halima always cooked me wonderful food, Mo was the perfect surf teacher and Mimi the little cat always came to cuddle with me. After already one day it felt like family. I’m gonna miss it and will definitely come back!

This is the place!! Beautiful and comfortable villa with a pool in the back and rooftop that’s great for yoga and sunsets. I’ve spent 10 days in Morocco and I’m not exaggerating when I say my top 3 meals were all from there. Everyone at Chernaki is so lovely to be around. Really great people that take you in as part of their family. WiFi is also great for working - no issues with video calls. I can’t recommend Chernaki enough.

The people at Chernaki made me really feel at home. They are super nice and helpful. I also really enjoyed the surf lessons. Mustafa taught me a lot about reading the waves and how to improve. The house is beautiful and the terrace on the roof top is just perfect for doing yoga or watching the sunset. Last but not least, I loved the food. It's also really nice that she made vegetarian food and even vegan food for us.

I really liked my stay at Chernaki Surf Experience. My room was so compfortable, had a huge bed and a balcony. The staff was so nice, always trying to help with anything I could need, they really made my experience so pleasant! Also the food is amazing, every night it was served a few different dishes of incredible delicious moroccan food. Next level. I´ve got the surf + yoga package so I started my days with the best yoga session on the rooftop, then followed by an amazing breakfast and after a whole day on the beach enjoying the waves. I´ll be bak for sure.

We booked with booking.com the doubleroom for three nights. Unfortunetly, they told us the room is not available when we arrived and they couldn't write us as we hadn't booked much in advance.. So we stayed there in the mixed 4-bed room for one night. We had a nice dinner with the group and a good evening on the really beautiful rooftoop. In the morning after the breakfast we were surfing the whole day. The lesson was really good and they did a good job. Because of the doublebooking we left after this. In the end, they wanted to charge us more for the night in the mixed room than we would have paid with booking.com for a night in the doubleroom, although they told us it's gonna be cheaper at our arrival. Also we should pay the booking fee for ourselves. Thats why we don't recommend to book this accomodation with booking.com as it's likely to have the rooms overbooked (we noticed it happened several times).
