One of the best places I have stayed in, and it helped ensure that Tangier was my favorite stop in Morocco. The location is unbeatable and the staff are simply the loveliest, kindest people. Breakfast (and welcome tea and snacks) were incredible. Anything you needed was organised and at a great price - they even arranged me a round trip taxi to Ceuta the night before and a taxi to the bus station at short notice. Very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated room, kitchen access and spotlessly clean bathroom. They refused to let me pay for a load of laundry. Thank you for everything!

Everything was very clean and the decorations were beautiful. Aissam is very kind and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend staying here to anyone that wants to be close to the Medina but in a more relaxing side street. Breakfast was also very nice!

My first visit to Morocco took me to Tangier, where I traveled solo as an experienced traveler. I started with a two-night stay at Chez Aissam, and my experience in Tangier exceeded all expectations. The hospitality was incredible, and as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable. I made sure to blend in and respect the culture, which was warmly reciprocated by the locals. Aissam and his wife were wonderful hosts, always there to offer helpful advice and share their genuine kindness. Meeting them truly added value to my stay—they made it memorable. The accommodation includes a shared bathroom, but if that seems like a drawback, I encourage you to think again. The bathroom is shared among only a few guests, was always available, and impeccably clean. The room itself was spacious and inviting, featuring a large bed and a cozy sitting area. There was ample space for my belongings, and a window for some fresh air. The room had a tasteful, comfortable design without any humidity issues. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the breakfast was rich and satisfying. I loved the tranquility of the accommodation—it made for restful sleep. The location was simply perfect—central yet in a charming neighborhood. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Chez Aissam and look forward to returning again.

I would struggle to find anything to dislike. One suggestion would be to put some hooks on the wall in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes when taking a shower.

The owner, Aissam, was very helpful and very polite. The location was excellent, a short walk from the Kasbah. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this property.

arriving to the house involves a steep clime. if you have a lot of luggage it is better to come by taxi

I really like the room because it’s spacious and very clean and the bed was very comfortable & clean. Even though, the bathroom is sharing , it is always clean and smells fresh. I also like the host Mr. Aissam is a wonderful guy and he is very professional and supportive. The breakfast is always delicious and fresh. The propriety is new and quality of service is fantastic. I really enjoy to stay 7 night and I would highly recommend.

Perfect location to explore the Kasbah by foot, just 5 minutes away. Aissam was super nice, and really made sure that we are comfortable and have everything we need. Plus he made us a really nice breakfast!
