Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe bathroom is quite old and also a bit cramped, but it works in the end.
Good location right on one of the busy streets of the old town. Very beautiful house, but with very narrow staircase. Rooftop terrace is nice to have.

Lovely old house in a convenient location in the Medina. Gives a real feel for life in the Medina as it used to be. Great rooftop terrace. Good breakfast. Staff really helpful with advice and arranging trips.. Gives a more authentic visit to Fes than one of the bigger hotels.

United StatesWiFi could be better in the rooms themselves. Also didn’t like the price for car, luggage, and tax was provided in Euros then converted back to dinars to pay at more then to 10 to 1 exchange which is what you get everywhere else. Feels like I overpaid. Just provide the amount in dinars next time.
Location is great and easy to find when you are in the Medina. They will meet you and escort you into their property which is helpful for this Medina. They can also arrange hammam and provide escorts for this. They also provide you with WhatsApp to call in case you have problems or get lost so you don’t have to pay someone to guide you back. Customer service is very good here.

SloveniaMore hangers in the room and closet. In the toilet too. Garbage should be in the room. For breakfast i wanted some other than marmelades (too much sugar). Some chili Berber or Arabian breakfast would be good. Harisa, omlete !

SpainEven the property itself was quiet, but the noise from outside was annoying.. Facilities were excellent, but it’s kinda dark, just need more lights.. and the window needs a curtain
The staff (Omar) was so nice; helpful, friendly and polite.. Location was great: in street full of shops (called Talas Sghira) so you feel safe.. The room was big and comfy.. and bathroom is inside which is great.. It’s Ramadan so they offered me Sahour meal instead of breakfast and that was so kind..

GermanyIt's impossible no to wet everything around in the bathroom when taking a shower. It would also be nice to have a body soap to shower. We had eggs only on our second breakfast. The first breakfast was mostly bread.
This was a real Moroccan Dar experience. With the decoration you can really feel that you are a guest of a Moroccan family. We had a great service from Omar and Hatim. They were super friendly and kind and welcomed us with delicious tea. The location is very convenient and the WiFi is very fast.

ItalyUnfortunately the heating system didn't work but we were given a portable heater instead. As always in Morocco, hot water is a debatable concept! :)
Nice room, quite spacious, big bed, in the middle of the Medina , but easy to reach. Very pretty interiors, good views from the terrace. Suarez is very helpful and so is Hatim. Breakfast is adequate.

NorwayThe air con and most of the lamps were not working in the triple room. We got a heater that we did not dare using in the night, and an extra lamp that gave little light. The only mirror was a tiny one over the sink. The room on the terrace either had no window or a very small one, can't remember. The lights were way too bright.
Location is great, a tiny side street from one of the main shopping streets. We found it easily using Google maps. It is a very small dar, with the traditional room in the middle. They have 5 rooms. Our main room (for 3) opened up to the room in the middle, where we could sit and the reception (a table) was there. Our second room (double) was on the roof terrace, it looked like a they had put a box on the roof. Breakfast was ok, pancakes and bread, tea and orange juice (the only place where we didn't get fresh juice on our trip). Served at the terrace.

Suarez was very welcoming even though we arrived late. The decor is lovely and bright, and our room was very spacious. The Dar is located very close to the blue gate. Warm shower. Great value.

The breakfast was not good , no coffee only mint tea , bread and jams , I have done Air BnB in Morocco, eggs and process cheese cost very little to have been offered a piece / triangle of process cheese would have been nice . Coffee should be offered at breakfast , all Moroccans drink coffee .
