Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing, it was all good! It’s a little tricky to find the first time. Our Moroccan SIM card and Google maps were key to finding the place tucked away just off one of the main shopping alleys.
Lovely quiet riad; clean and comfortable rooms. You can chill out on the terrace, catch a bit of sun and listen to the birds and calls to prayer. Bader, who runs the place, is the nicest host you could ever meet. He was super helpful and gave us lots of tips about where to visit, good cafes, and key information about booking buses and taxis. Bader is also an experienced chef and cooked dinner for us on 2 nights- we tried both his fish and chicken tagines which were full of local ingredients and unique flavours. He also speaks many languages including perfect English! We would definitely stay here again!

United KingdomNowadays more used to ensute but a robe and slippers were provided and I liked the bathroom décor too.
The look and feel of the place. Nice décor, enjoyed the breakfast. It was central, not in a busy location and easy to find because the google maps pin was in the right place and all the alleyays on the way there were on the map too. I was able to leave luggage for a couple of hours on my last day there.

1. Good location, it's not hard to find the Riad. But if you are in Marrakesh Medina first time, maybe you need someone to guide you to the Riad, or follow Google map then ask people around when you are very close to the Riad. Don't hesitate to knock the wrong Riad door. 2. The manager is a nice and helpful guy. 3. The room is clean, comfortable, in a quiet area in the morning and at night, and heater provided. No dog barks and cats. 4. It's not a modern hotel, but it's an authentic Riad. Do expect to live in a Taditional and old styled living space but with renovations.

United StatesWe loved that this was a home to a former artist whose work is still on display at the riad. The owner gave an excellent suggestion to go to Anima Gardens which is made by the artist’s friend, and you can see this artist’s work. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. It was in an excellent location.

United KingdomNot a criticism but it is worth noting that the bathrooms for the single rooms are on a different floor to the actual bedrooms.
A charming Riad in a very convenient & quiet location. It was clean and the beds are super comfy. We loved coming back from sight seeing and chilling on the roof terrace. The best thing was Bader's hospitality. He is so kind and attentive. He was particularly understanding when one of our party had to move to alternative accommodation due to a broken arm. I'd highly recommend Dar Daoud.

IndiaWe were traveling with large suitcases so the room felt a bit tight to open the suitcases, but if you have small suitcase/ backpack you should be fine.
The property is located close to the main square, and looks very authentic and traditional. We had a tour to Essaouira in the morning and they provided us early breakfast which was sweet of them. They maintained good communication and made sure we were able to find the Riad since we reached at night.

PolandYou have to be prepared however to transport your luggage as the way to the Dar from places where you can get to with a taxi is lengthy and complicated. You need to hire a porter with a cart. The room and the bathroom pretty small not quite as we expected.
Location is perfect. In the middle of the old town and souk. Small, cosy Dar with proficient and gentille service.

Amazing! Everything from the booking until leaving! We stayed 3 days and I still wish that we booked more nights rather then booking elsewhere! Bader is the most amazing host, he is so calm and professional and his top priority is your wellbeing. We got really good breakfast, one morning we had a tour booked so he prepared a breakfast box for us. The breakfast lady and the man working during the night are also really nice, always smiling and friendly. The riad has only 5 rooms so this is really personal. Location is excellent and the room was comfortable and cosy. Thank you so much Bader and your team!
