We were completely blown away by Dar Darma. We had initially booked a cheaper riad but changed last minute to this property and we’re so glad we did. It was worth every extra penny. The property itself is stunning down to every small detail- it’s even better than the photographs. The location is perfect for the best Marrakech has to offer. However, what makes this Riad truly special is the staff. Their service and attention to detail is beyond expectation and nothing is too much trouble for them. It was a week of total bliss and we will definitely be back.

Exceptionally beautiful venue designed with care and an eye for detail for every little corner. It felt like staying in a gallery or art history museum. Friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful, warm staff - no end to the good things we could say for them. Wonderful people! Peaceful and quiet escape from the medina. Rooftop with a pool to cool off and lots of private nooks and crannies with loungers hidden between the many beautiful plants. It felt like home!

The entire property is stunning and the staff really helpful. Maria was always there to assist and gave us a loto of fantastic advises to fully enjoy our time. The dinner served on the rooftop is unmissable. Thanks for all, you made our weekend unforgettable

Maria and her staff took excellent care of us. The location of the Riad is perfect for touring the Medina. Maria also helped us with restaurant reservations for our trips to the desert. Maria made us feel part of a family. See you next year!

Access to bedrooms impossible with dangerous stairs. We lost the full payment and got no help to find alternative accommodation.

Airport transfer was severely delayed, meaning I arrived much later than I’d anticipated. I’d advise against using that service. I was also overcharged for a very average massage at 50 euro which I later discovered is way above what is a normal price for a massage at similar places. Breakfast was very average- a plate of unseasoned scramble eggs, when I asked for omelette having been given then option of scrambled or omelette. Other guests had more options which I was not offered.

Honestly it was so scammy 25 euro for lunch ?! LOL WHAT. for chicken and salad. Do yourself a favor and walk down the street get the same thing for 60 dirham. Also I had a food delivery come for me since the food was so overpriced on location. The staff brought it to me because I am a solo female traveller and it was after dark I asked the staff member how much the delivery was he said 150 dirham. I checked the reciept after it was 105 dirham only. They also tried to charge me 100 dirham for the tax. It is only 2.50 euro. Don’t let them scam You. Double check everything. For such a high priced riad I really didn’t expect to be scammed during my stay. The staff were also not responsive to texts in a prompt manner for things like water and tea. Just overall terrible service for a riad at this price point. Nobody offered me advice or anything even when I asked some questions nobody even responded. Just would never stay here again there are nicer riads with better service for this price point.

The property itself is gorgeous, very nicely decorated although didn’t understand why a lot of the smaller mirrors were not on the wall. They looked misplaced on the floor. For larger mirrors sure but smaller mirrors a bit strange. However it was nicely decorated and smelled of jasmine.

We decided to have dinner in a restaurant ourside the Medina, for which transport was booked via the Dar Darma personnel. On our way back, the person in charge of openning the Riad fell asleep, meaning we had to wait 40 minutes deep in the night and had to encounter a couple situations that were not safe at all. We called multiple times, including the reservations team but we had no response. We had to call back our previous accomodation to try and secure a room for the night due to how bad the situation was becoming as people were aware of us being stranded.

Breakfast was very nice and well prepared.

I found the service to be basic for a property of this type. In the room there was no fridge and the TV is very small and wasn’t working. Room service was very slow and I had to wait to get ice and drink. Breakfast was limited and on our second night we chose not to eat it. The area around the property is not great and difficult to access. The staff are fine.

The property is amazing, a real gem.

the male staff was very rude and racist and we felt unsafe and uncomfortable because of his behaviour. we had to pay him for our dinner that he ordered for us on his phone the previous night since we arrived late, the next day we didn’t have cash on hand so suggested he come with us to the centre to an atm so we can pay him and leave, and he got upset and started yelling at us, I’m in extreme shock at this point. He restricted our taxi from arriving to pick us up and made us wait for so long and we only realised it later until we got on the taxi and the other driver informed us. We have recordings of his unacceptable behaviour. absolutely shocking tbh, I don’t recommend this place to anyone that wants to feel safe.

It looked beautiful, that’s the only thing good about it
