Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumThe noise from common areas.
Friendly and cozy place, nice breakfast. It was nice and secluded from the outside world, but you could hear pretty much everything that happened in the common spaces from within our room. This is not unusual for these type of accomodations though. The hosts are super friendly. Location was convenient, close to the Medina, also some takout options in the area.

PortugalThe staff member was incredibly friendly and always available to help. He even stayed up late to assist us in getting a taxi to the airport in the early hours. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. A pleasant surprise was the magnificent rooftop, perfect for relaxation, as well as the interior terrace filled with beautiful plants. I highly recommend it! A paradise in the historic center of the Medina in Marrakech.

United StatesLocation was great in a quiet neighborhood just a few turns from an easy route to the main square. Breakfast was standard but tasty and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are more charming than the pictures show. Free airport pickup was also a great feature.

GermanyThe Riad, the owner and the staff were very friendly and forthcoming. They even installed a heater as it started to rain and therefore the temperature dropped significantly. Mohammed even agreed to serve us breakfast earlier than expected. He also helped us to organize secure parking for our rental car. Thank you again for your hospitality.

United KingdomThe staff were excellent. Marc helped a lot before our stay. Hafsa and Mohammed took care of us and were very kind and helpful everyday. Highly recommend. They looked after us very well and when our room was accidentally double booked on the first night they covered our stay at another Riad right around the corner and provided us with dinner and transport from the airport.

There was a problem with our stay and ended up staying only for 1 night instead of 3, but the owner was kind and provided everything we need to make our stay fabulous. Staffs were really kind and friendly and we enjoyed the food provided. Location is near the main square and the Riad itself is beautiful. Thank you Marc and staff!

United StatesThese are very small quibbles but the air conditioning wasn't working the first night in my parents' room, I'm picky about sheets so I didn't love sleeping under what felt like polyester-blend sheets, and the air was really dusty/smoky when we stayed because of nearby wildfires which means the floor in our bedrooms were really dirty (had to wear shoes indoors). But these are truly just details when everything else exceeded expectations.
Hafsa was incredible! She went above and beyond, finding a wheelchair for my mom and setting up an early breakfast. The riad itself was also stunning, spacious and epic and lush. Great shower with good water pressure and instant, lasting hot water.

GermanyIt would have been nice if the breakfast had included a basket of fresh fruit, considering that fresh fruit should not be short in Morocco. We also had to ask for some eggs, as otherwise only bread / pancakes with honey / jam would not have been nutritious enough.
A beautiful peaceful oasis, where to unwind from the bustling medina and scorching sun. The Berber room we were given had everything to make one feels at home, with authentic Moroccan touches and plenty of light, as well. The property is rather small with only a few rooms and that makes the experience quite intimate, too. It is very quite and soothing with the lavish greenery offered by the banana trees and climbing plants. Overall, I would strongly recommend this property.

BelgiumThe riad is located in what seems to be an area where not may tourists stay. Its a 10min walk to the main square but you need to know your way otherwise you're lost immediately and Marrakesh isn't a city to get lost in. A clear map or guide to the square on the first walk would be nice
Nice riad with beautiful chambers. Marc gave us an upgrade to the suite following a misunderstanding, that was highly appreciated, Hafsa was impeccable and halped us on many different occasions.

United KingdomJust a small suggestion - bring some extra toilet paper and shampoo/soap for the shower!
The traditional aesthetics of the place allows you to experience the magic of Marrakesh in a different way. The well maintained central garden, the accessible roof terrace and the morrocan-style furnitures make the experience of living there inspiring and relaxing. Lastly but not least, the staff was super helpful and caring. For instance, they helped us booking taxis, suggested places to visit etc. Oh and we were having breakfast there, super simple but still super delicious!!!

FranceIt's a bit further off from the main centre (10-15min walking to the main plaza), which we personally preferred because it meant that the riad was very quiet in the evening, but this might not be to everyone's preference. Cabs can't drop you directly in front of the riad so if you have mobility issues it might be tricky to access the riad, esp if you have a lot of luggage.
Good breakfast, nice staff, the riad is beautiful (love the beautiful ochre colored rooms and walls), the terrace is beautiful and authentic, I really liked the room decor & aesthetic.
