Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyNot much, it's a great place to stay, but when you shower in the room, the water doesn't really run down the drain so it would be good to provide something to shovel it down the drain with.
Dreamy place in a stunning kasbah. The garden is huge and there's a big swimming pool you can enjoy during the warm weather periods. Actually you wouldn't need to leave the place at all 😅 But it's so nice to walk around in the sleepy small streets of the palmerie around the kasbah, so I would recommend to do that 😄 Lahcine and everyone else running this place are so extremely kind and attentive to details. When I arrived, Lahcine picked me up from Skoura center with his scooter and he also left me there when I left. They were always checking on me to see if I needed anything

NetherlandsBe advised that the city of Skoura is an half hour walk away through palm fields and Dar es Salam is quite isolated and not very light to reach by public transportation. There is only one local cab for the whole area. I managed to get around and do some sightseeing because of other couples staying there who were there by car.
The stay in Dar es Salam was an unique and unexpected experience.. The love and care with which the premises are kept in good shape are equally distributed in the love and care towards the customers. I had breakfast and diner every day at dar es salam and have had some of the best Moroccan meals I ever tasted. The atmosphere is very quiet and pleasant.

United KingdomRural, rustic Morocco. The place is a great little hideaway, if you take supplies it is a great place for complete relaxation. Evening dinner is great value, the staff are very helpful with anything you need. I had the whole place to myself and felt like a movie star. The place is not 5 star but at the prices Lahcine charges you must have realistic expectations.

United KingdomBedrooms and toilet could do with updating.
We stayed for 1 night en route back from the Sahara. Adequate for 1 night, but not the most comfortable or cleanest place we've stayed. The Kasbah and the grounds are very nice. Staying at a Kasbah was a great experience, but it was lacking a bit of refinement and just a little too rustic for us. The evening meal we had was absolutely delicious, the breakfast was plentiful and the staff were lovely.

GermanyBreakfast and Dinner are served in the beautiful garden of the kasbah. You can enjoy some fresh air while eating outside in this fairy place, it feels like you are in a romance , not real life. All the meals are simple but tasty and it’s very nice that you don’t need to drive out of the kasbah , you can just go on enjoying the beautiful place.

The property is very unique. VERY comfortable bed and duvet. Food was fantastic (Kafta Tangine), as was the simple standard Berber breakfast. Both meals were taken in the garden with a few other guests. As a solo traveler on a moto they sent out a very kind staff person out to find me in front of the property and guide me in. Impressive!! The pool and calm energy had me asking for a late check out so I could enjoy the pool.

United KingdomIn advance of our arrival all queries were answered promptly by Lahcen and he was always on hand to help us once we arrived .A guided bike tour of the Palmaries with Hamza was very special but getting back to the Kasbah was even better. Sallah was so attentive and bought tea to the pool, served the wine and beer we brought with us, and also provided excellent service over dinner and breakfast. Drinks on the terrace at sunset was very special . The bedroom was very characterful, as was the whole building. Very good value too!

United KingdomThe bathroom was quite basic
The staff were extremely helpful. We punctured the carcas we arrived and the whole family came to help. The manager spoke very good English and recommended somewhere to stay in Marrakesh. It was an out of season stay and booked atvthe last minute. This made no difference to our stay. We had a hearty, traditional meal in the evening which was very good value. The room was very comfortable and warm as ut was very cold in the evening and morning in January.
