Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesPhotos were misleading. Before we requested to change rooms, our shower drain was clogged, the bed was uncomfortable with just a bed sheet to cover with, and room was way too congested for 2.
Terrace was nice as well as the staff. Helped us change rooms into a bigger one after the first night

United Arab EmiratesThe wifi was weak and at times non existent. The room we had included an ensuite with shower but had no shower curtain resulting in a very wet bathroom after a shower. Also there hot water was very limited with maybe 5 mins of hot water then freezing cold.
Good location to the centre of the town and attractions. The staff were very helpful and friendly which is why they rated highly.

Taiwan1. Water heater is not electronic: 3 liters of water per room. If the first person uses too much water, the next person has to wait at least 30 minutes for water heating. (Actually, I waited for 30-60 minutes, and still had no hot water. Then, I had a fever the next day...) If you like taking showers with cold water, this hotel will be perfect for you! 2. There is no window on 1F's room: I feel so oppressed! The air ventilation is only through a fan, and the sound of the fan is a little noisy. It affected our sleep at night 3. The mirror in the bathroom is peeling off; guests need to be careful to avoid injury. 4. Breakfast was on a beautiful balcony with a nice view. However, there were a lot of bees, so you might not enjoy the delicious breakfas

New ZealandThe bathroom was a bit run-down and the shower didn't drain very well. Our main concern was that there was an open sewer in the street below and the smell came straight in the bedroom windows, so the whole room smelt like sewage most of our stay. Bed also wasn't very comfy, and pillows were very lumpy.
The rooftop balcony was really lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good and close to everything.

EgyptBreakfast is so cheap the only riad or dar I ever saw that they don't serve eggs or fruits or juice !!!!! We have been staying in chefchauon in smaller and more cheaper options and they all serve a good breakfast with fruits juice and eggs The most surprising thing !! No air-conditioning I am not sure how this place doesn't have an air conditioning, in summer it is very hot and in winter it is very cold so how come you don't have an air conditioning and it is something you cannot take care while reserving however it is not mentioned that they have one so you can't blame them on booking, you just blame them on how cheap they are charging on the expensive side and not having an air-conditioning or a good breakfast Internet also is very bad always cutting off and very slow Place is clearly understaffed So what you really feel is that the owner doesn't want to pay
I am giving them 7 just for Reda he is amazing and doing all his best to make your stay worthy Reda should take 10 Room is big and clean Toilet is very cool Roof is very very nice, with a good breath of air

PortugalThe facilities are not entirely modern, and we would have appreciated if they were a bit cleaner. Two of our rooms were very small and spartans, while one was quite big and spacious. The bed and cushions were surprisingly uncomfortable. For sure the best thing of the property is the location, but they could offer a better service (given the price) with an upgrade of the furnitures.
The property is very central, and it has a fantastic terrace on top on three different level. You can feel and breathe the essence of the city. The staff was super helfpul and kind to us.

United StatesThe rooms had a mildew or sewer smell to them that if you closed the windows was intolerable. Fortunately, we were able to keep the windows open and the smell away. Also, the mattresses and pillows could be a bit more substantial.
Great rooftop area, the staff were all very nice, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.

United StatesOur room was located on the ground level. The drain in the shower did not work well and it smelled so bad that it kept us awake at night. Also, there was not enough hot water for the third person when we showered. Unfortunately, we did not get an extra toilet paper, so since there was three of us we ran out and it was difficult to find someone to get a new roll. Also, on our departure day we had to leave before 8am and we were not able to get anything for breakfast, not even coffee or tea. The view from the terrace is nice, however, all these negative things were so disappointing that our overall stay was not satisfactory. We have traveled through Morocco and stayed in several riads, sadly this was the worst one. I am not sure where from came these awesome reviews.

United StatesAvoid this place at all cost. Everything else, from no heat in the room (the small heater we were provided, could not heat the room) to the fact there was no hot water. The toiltry is 3rd grade. The room has no chair table or closet. This is the worst facility I slept in during my 40 years, 70 countries travels. I am going to complain about booking as something is wrong with the rating .
Staff was trying very hard despite very bad conditions. The location is very good

CanadaThere were no toilet paper and towels in the bathroom upon arrival. The plate of the electrical socket to connect the portable heater had come apart from the wall before my arrival (see photo).
The breakfast was fine and the service polite and courteous. Although at this point in my trip I would have preferred a little more protein as it was heavily laden with breads.
