Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI loved everything about this place! Since it was BRAND new there was a faint paint smell but the new air conditioning unit helped when I let it run for a bit. There wasn’t a lot of hot water, but it was fine to take a warm shower.
The property recently reopened under new ownership and it was pristine! Such a beautiful space, well curated, and comfortable. I loved the size of the deluxe suite for my husband and I, and of course the attention to detail from the amazing staff reception’s welcome and availability, breakfast, and cleanliness. The reception picked us up at our taxi and guided us to the riad then walked us through a map of Marrakesh so we could get our bearings.

AustriaAt the end of our trip we returned to Riad Sierra for 1 night. We honestly cannot recommend this place enough. It's delicate style and interior design, the quiet courtyard and big rooftop terasse make you want to spend relaxing time in the hotel. It is conveniently located in the heart of Marrakech. Pick up and drop off from airport/railway station were organized via the hotel staff and everything went smoothly. We had delicious breakfast and dinner (the latter we paid for extra for a reasonable price). Special thanks to Murad, who made us feel welcome and cared for during our entire stay! Whenever we return to Marrakesh, we will for sure stay again at Riad Sierra.

SpainOur stay at Riad Sierra was fantastic. The place is amazingly beautiful. The room had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Its also very well located (walking distance everywhere). The people who works there are also very nice. Mourad, Abdou and the rest of the team exceeded our expectations and were always ready to offer help, suggestions, organize tours, etc. They made our experience even better. The breakfast they prepared is amazing. Loads of food and very fresh. If we go back to Marrakesh, we will definetly stay there again.

United KingdomThis is not really against this particular Riad but just want to make people aware that Riads are (by cultural design) understated on the outside as Moroccans do not want to show off (it's the inside that counts!). So no matter what Riad you pick, you will find that a) the walk near to the Riad can be unnerving at first as it can be a challenge to find which Riad to knock the door to with little signposting and b) the streets and surrounding area can look a bit of a construction site! Do not let reviews put you off if you see a comment around this, unless you are contemplating Hotel vs Riad rather than Riad vs Riad. But Riads are so so special and unique, I would strongly recommend a Riad, and especially this one.
The renovation of this Riad is truly spectacular - modern yet retains the charm of old. The riad is about 2 minute walk from the nearest taxi point, and a 2 minute walk from the start of the souks in the Medina. In between are quiet local streets that allow the property to enjoy much more peace than I was anticipating. The staff were the kindest, most helpful, proactive members we've had the privilege to meet. Truly they go above and beyond. One example is that we had a day trip to Essouira with a nearby pickup point at 7:40am. As breakfast isn't until 8:00am, the staff prepared us a substantial takeaway breakfast at 7am, with plenty of coffee and tea before we set out, and came with us to the meeting point to make sure we found our pickup driver. Another is just before we left for the airport, my wife needed to use the toilet (several hours after checkout of the room) - she not only got to use the staff's facilities but they insisted she (and then I) join them for their supper of couscous. Moments like that really matter and take this place to the next level. We had dinner for one evening and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also substantial and far better than the breakfasts we'd became accustomed to during our 2 weeks around Morocco. All the decor seems pretty much new, and as such the bedroom and bathroom was clean, tidy and had that new furniture smell. Bed was very comfy and we had a good amount of space in the room.

RomaniaEven if the dinner was delicious I would say that with less the amount charged you could eat better outside. Also the breakfast, although delicious, being fixed every day it might seem too repetitive after couple of days.
This beautiful riad is a oasis of peace and tranquility where you can relax and recharge after a full day in the bustling Marrakesh with a tasteful tea provided by the host. It's located in the Medina so it's in the center of most of the attractions. It was recently renovated so everything looks new, clean and the WiFi problem is also solved, now it works perfect. Abdou and Mourad who are the main in charge for the Riad were super friendly, helpful and attentive to all our needs.

Great location on the edge of the Madina, the Riad itself is beautiful and peaceful and decorated to a really high standard. Both Mourad and Abdou were fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough to help us and provided us with excellent advice which really put us at ease and made our stay in Marrakech so much better. The breakfasts were also delicious on the roof terrace.

United KingdomNothing to dislike about this Riad specifically. Noise in any Riad travels, so best to not stay in one if you're a very light sleeper, or bring some earplugs! But I loved everything about my stay here at Riad Sierra.
The owner and the staff of this Riad were lovely and helpful, and the building was really beautiful. The rooftop is very peaceful and was a great place for breakfast, as well as sunbathing during the day. It's just a five minute walk from the shopping areas of the Medina, with lots of nice restaurants and cafes around.

The hosts were so proactive in helping me on my first trip to Morocco. Abdou and Shea were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made the labyrinth of the Medina old city easy to navigate as a solo female visitor. I loved the location and the gorgeous decor of the Riad. My room was heaven, not just in its beauty but in its comfortable and thoughtful design. Breakfast was delicious. I look forward to visiting again.

We stayed for a week in this sanctuary ideally located in a lively Sook. Truly a hidden gem! We felt like stepping into a lifestyle magazine, with its eye for all details in the cosy, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, the beautiful swimmingpool, having a entire terrace for ourselves, but most of all being pampered by the staff. Everything perfect organised from the pick-up at the airport to Shea always at hand to help with valuable tips and swift answers to all request. The extensive list with tips for restaurants, trips and must sees. The delicious breakfasts (with freshly baked products by Kristine) in the morningsun at the spacious rooftop terrace, where you can also enjoy the impressive sunsets. We really felt so welcome, thank you for a memorable stay in wonderfull Marrakech.
